Luis and his crew did a marvelous job.He is a perfectionist and did lots of prep to protect existing surfaces. If he wasn't happy w an area, it was redone.In addition, we had some new drawers and pull outs installed. We are very happy with the result---Luis put a beautiful finish on the cabinets in the kitchen and laundry room. With Cook you get professional results at a reasonable price."

"We had been referred to Kirk Development by a friend who had given them rave reviews on a major remodel at their home. We were certainly not disappointed! From the inception of the project with Gary as our designer, we were kept informed of the progress and what the schedule would be. We had a bit of a hiccup at the beginning of the project as our superintendent left the company and we were assigned a new superintendent. We were a bit concerned how this would affect the project, but that was an unwarranted concern. Michael stepped in seamlessly and led the remainder of the project beautifully. One thing I appreciated about the way Michael managed our job was a real time calendar he left at our home so I knew when different projects would be worked on and subcontractors would be arriving at the house. It can be tough to "live" through a remodel at your home when you are actually living there, but this made it quite manageable and helped eliminate surprise arrivals. I really appreciated that as a stay at home mom! Also, all the subcontractors we worked with were terrific - very qualified and professional. Our remodel was a bit complicated because of the odd angles in our kitchen, but Gary, Michael, and the rest of the team really helped give us great advice and direction so as to ensure the kitchen functioned for us as well as looked nice aesthetically. "This review is very late, but I remember everything that happened because it was such a good experience with Kent, the owner of Beehive Ceilings.
Shortly after moving into the home we had just purchased, there was a leak in our upstairs ceiling. It left a brown discoloration in the paint and a small portion of our roof had to be repaired (work done through another company). We did our research through Angie's List and decided on Beehive Ceilings. I called the number listed and it went straight to Kent, the owner. I could tell he was on the go, but he talked to me and I explained what our issue was. As it was hard to explain over the phone, he said he could stop by later on that day to take a look. He came over several hours later and surveyed the ceiling. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and his prices seemed reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. We are first time home owners and we're looking to do work with people we feel are good people, not just good at what they do, and Kent made us feel that way. He was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him.
During our conversation, we moved onto the topic of lighting, and he told us that he also offers electrical work, although he doesn't advertise it because he doesn't feel the need to. If his customers need electrical work, he offers it to them, but he doesn't go around broadcasting it. He said he's been doing electrical work for a long time (I cant remember how many years he said specifically, but he's been doing it a long time). We told him we were interested in putting in additional lighting in our downstairs living room because it's a big space and the ceiling fan light just wasn't enough. He said he could do pot/recessed lights that would look nice. We agreed and decided to go with 6 lights total.
The morning of the scheduled work to be done, I had put it in my calendar wrong, I thought he was coming next week instead of the day he showed up. He showed up promptly at 7am with his crew. I was very embarrassed! I was in my pajamas answering the door..I felt silly, but he was very gracious about it and didnt make a big deal out of it. His crew consisted of 3 men who were very polite and nice. They prepped the area extremely well with that plastic you lay down when you paint and they taped it all up. They were very thorough in that regard. Two men worked on the upstairs ceiling, while the third man worked on the pot lights in the downstairs living room. Before he made any cuts in the ceiling, they called me in to examine. They wanted to make sure it looked perfect to me. Which it did. After he installed the lights and the circuit he installed the switch which has a dimmer on it. It looks perfect!!! I can be extremely particular and I notice little details when things are off, or not done properly, and this job exceeded my expectations! That is a great feeling, because being a first time home owner we are a little paranoid whether people will do a good job or not. When he was done installing the lights, they painted the whole ceiling as to not leave any age spots of new paint.
A couple days after the work was done I noticed the upstairs ceiling had some streaks in it that did not show up until the paint had dried after the workers had already gone home. I called Kent and he apologized and worked around our schedule to get the guys back out to put one more coat of paint on it. Because it was such a good experience the first time, I didnt mind them coming back out to paint. They did an excellent job with covering everything once again, and they put 2 thick coats on to ensure to streaks.
It was a very good experience and we really enjoyed working with Kent. We trust him and will definitely be using him in the future.

"We have all heard those stories of contractors you can't reach and who don't do what they say they are going to do. This isn't Robert of Freak Dog Construction. He is a true professional who keeps you informed and is on site every day to ensure that the workers know what needs to be done. If it is not done right, he will have it redone to your satisfaction. Last year Robert remodeled my kitchen and breakfast nook. They took out all the soffits and moved walls so we would have more room for the cabinets. Of course, all the wiring for the house comes in through the kitchen and had to be untangled and tucked into the ceiling. New LED lights were installed in the ceiling and under the cabinets. The cabinets were custom made and turned out beautiful! The tile work and new flooring was without blemish. I get rave reviews every time someone sees the kitchen for the first time. I was extremely happy about how the remodel went so when I decided that the three bathrooms needed updating, I knew I had to call Robert back. We went over the plan multiple times. He was attentive, asked questions and took notes and had his trade people come to listen and ask questions. He took out the soffits in all the bathrooms, making them look much more spacious. New LED lights were put in the ceiling and electrical moved to put sconces on either side of the mirrors. Plumbing issues were discovered, when the soffits were removed, and were fixed. The showers were torn out down to the studs. All the plumbing was updated and then the showers rebuilt and tiled. They turned out more beautiful than I imagined. Robert used a tile guy, Miguel, that is very talented at what he does. He takes pride in his work. Custom counters were installed with quartz tops and stone bowls on top. Everything done to perfection! All three bathrooms were torn apart and rebuilt in about six weeks. Drywall, electrical, texture, paint and tile were done. There was never a day that I didn't have workers here all day creating what far exceeded my expectations. Robert came by here every day and ensured that the work never slowed, and everything was done in the appropriate order. Robert communicated with me about who was coming and when. If I had a question or concern, he always listened to me and address the issue. He really is a great guy and makes you feel like your project is the most important one he is working on. The whole project came in at the contract price. I honestly believe that I got the better end of the deal! I still can't believe these showcase bathrooms are in my house!"
