"I'm a long-distance landlord for a house in Gainesville.  We didn't even realize we were on septic when we bought the house a year and a half ago.  We had a problem with the washing machine drain backing up, and eventually the second plumber we brought in figured out we weren't on city sewer, and further, we had not one but two septic tanks, one for the bathrooms and a second for the kitchen and washing machine.  The second one had failed and filled up causing the backup.  We called Dampier, worried that the septics hadn't been properly maintained and expecting the worst, and asked them to come pump the main tank and tell us what we had going on with the second one.  They came promptly next morning, found the bathroom tank didn't need service, and just pumped out the washing machine/kitchen tank.  They didn't try to charge me for a tank that didn't need service, even though I had no way of knowing this.  Honest! <br />"
