"<p>First, I had used this same company previously to do the tiles in my kitchen and was very pleased with the professionalism of the representative and with the work that was done.  The tiles, and especially the grout, were in sore need of cleaning.  He did the work and gave me advice on how to maintain them.</p> <p>This second visit to do the bathroom/toilet and shower was very different.  To start with the representative traipsed water all over the hardwood floor from his equipment and then walked in it.  The tiles in the bathroom and toilet were quite clean.  I was more concerned with the ones in the shower.  The work in the shower was less than satisfactory and when I commented on it his only response was that perhaps the whole floor should be removed and replaced.  He did replace some grout for which I was charged an extra $26.50.  When I commented (complained) about the water on the floor he took a rag and wiped up the wet spot but didn't touch the area that was dirty from where he had walked.  When I told him that I was unhappy with the work, his comment was "I wiped the floor, didn't I"  </p> <p><br /></p> I am not used to getting service of this quality from the companies on Angie's list. <br />"

"<p>Well the men that came out were professional and on time. I have an older pet who urinates on the carpet at times. They sprayed for all of those stains/smells. The carpets looked great the 1st day and part of the 2nd. Then you could see a lot of the old stains again.I wasn't expecting a miracle for the carpet so it wasn't too surprising when the spots started coming back thru. </p> <p>The grout to me looked worse than it did before. The tile is about 3 years old but it looked better before they did anything to it. I wouldn't recommend this process to anyone. </p> <p>Just overall disappointment for the dollars spent. </p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"2/7/15 :  Jeff from Steamworks, Inc.  has been cleaning my carpets and flooring now for 15 years and I can honestly say I wouldn't call upon anyone else. He is timely, courteous, tidy and professional and  has always been  there to answer any questions I may have about keeping my carpet and flooring clean.  I have 3 cats who have the occasional hairball incident and shed fur (of course) yet friends come to my house and say they wouldn't know I had cats if they didn't see them in the home. That's how clean my house feels when Steamworks comes out. Jeff even provides tips on how to successfully spot clean for the months in between my steam cleanings and it's important to know the do's and don'ts of spot cleaning.  His tips have made a huge difference in knowing how to skillfully clean up spills and kitty "yack" .  I just had my very light beige 15 year old carpet and light beige tile grout cleaned yesterday.  The carpet looks amazing , considering the age and color and the grout looks brand new again.  I've been talking about replacing the carpet for the past 5 years and I may do it this year but it's hard to let it go when it still looks and feels great. "I've only used them once. The reason I go back is because I had another person clean the carpet. They did a terrible job and it smelled terrible. And this person was able to clean the carpet and they used some sort of chemical on it that made it smell better. That's why I will continue to use them. It took an hour for them to complete the carpet cleaning and the workers were fine. I think one of them owns the company. They were very good. What they did exceptionally well was they used like an enzyme when they cleaned the carpet, which got rid of animal smells, and it was fantastic. They charged me for it, but it was well worth it."
