"We requested estimates from four painting contractors before selecting Aurora Painting & Decorating to paint our exterior and a few interior rooms. Aurora’s pricing was a little higher than the average pricing from all of the estimates, but we really felt that the value was above and beyond the other contractors. The crew was amazing and very professional, arriving promptly in the morning and keeping our grounds and landscaping clean at the end of each day. The crew really seemed engaged with our project and this is a very noticeable quality when you have worked with other contractors that seem uninterested in the client or the client’s project. Aurora was also able to set up a meeting with a color consultant for the project and, fortunately, they are also connected to an excellent carpenter – our house had some serious wood dry rot issues that needed to be addressed during the work. The carpenter (Antonio) was equally amazing and was able to handle all of the dry rot issues before the painting was completed. Dean was very helpful with explaining each phase of the work, answering all of our many questions, and connecting with the crew (and us) if there were additional questions or concerns. A number of our neighbors have used Aurora Painting over the years and we are happy to have found them. "The owner, Juan Ortiz bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule, my specs, my wishes. He was patient, professional, friendly and responded immediately when I tried to contact him. His crew was EXCELLENT. The arrived on time, everyday. They fixed things they weren't required to fix. They did a painstakingly beautiful job, and they cleaned up thoroughly. I recommend them enthusiastically and will definitely be using them again."

"We recently hired Urbinas to paint our front door and wouldn't recommend them. Ulysses came out to paint the door only to tell us that he wasn't able to paint a door that wasn't hung in the doorway and asked us to get our contractor to hang the door and install the hardware before painting. After having the door installed Ulysses and his father painted the door but forgot to paint the top and bottom of the door which voided our warranty with the door company. The door company came out and asked if we had hired someone who was licensed and bonded because the work didn't reflect someone who follows the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America standards. When we asked for a refund Ulysses blamed us saying we should have told him to paint the top and bottom and we are now left with a door that is now out of warranty and have to pay for another licensed and bonded painter to fix the mistake."
