"<p>Anybody with a chainsaw and a pickup truck can call himself a tree trimmer. Rainhunters is a real company that will be around if you need them later. They are insured and post their insurance info on their website. You won’t get that from a guy with a pickup truck.</p> <p>Rainhunters are professionals. They do top-quality work at a fair price. We interviewed three other companies and chose Rainhunters because of the professional way they presented themselves. Being members of the Better Business Bureau, having a website ([*** Link removed ***] posting their credentials and awards and being able to accept credit cards all made us feel more comfortable with them than some others. The fact that they listened to my concerns clinched the deal. </p> <p>I was most impressed with Rainhunters. I love trees and have seen too many butchered by tree-trimmers who wield chain saws like weapons to defoliate trees instead of tools to sculpt then and help them live better and longer. A tree is a living thing that should be treated with love, not just a trimmer’s paycheck.</p> <p>I have a pool and contrary to most pool owners, I like having the limbs overhang to provide shade and a more natural atmosphere. When the owner, Ricardo Prieto, came out to give an estimate, he understood what I wanted and respected it. Some other companies tried to talk me into doing things their way instead of the way I wanted. </p> <p>My wife was afraid that the trimmers might make our lovely old oak trees into “lollipop” tress like you see in parking lots and around commercial buildings. We conveyed that to Ricardo and he assured us they would not do that. </p> <p>The crew was delayed coming out the first day, but the office called to let us know. That made a very good impression. So many service people don’t have such courtesy. We appreciated it. </p> <p>If you don’t speak Spanish, you can always call Ricardo if you need to communicate anything. He will come out for the initial estimate and translate any concerns you have to his workers. Plus he will show up with them in the morning – at least he did with me (but maybe I was a challenging customer). </p> <p>When the guys came to do the work, they were careful and asked before cutting too many branches, which was quite a relief. They were more concerned about making the customer happy than rushing through the job. Additionally, they were quiet, using a machete when appropriate, a small chainsaw that didn’t rouse the whole neighborhood and a small wood chipper. Plus, unlike other crews I’ve seen at neighbor’s yards, they did not have a radio blasting. We appreciate that some neighbors might not want to join us in this project by being assaulted by noise. </p> <p>Overall, it was a great experience. Mike Nelson, McAllen. </p> <br> <br> <br> <br>"

"I had a 20 x 40 pool with gunite bottom and fiberglass sides that had been leaking since I bought the property over 20 years ago. I hired a "professional" shortly after buying the property that burned through my cash and when he was done -- the pool still leaked. I had more than one "leak expert" search for the leak(s) and determine that it wasn't in the plumbing. I drained, patched, painted and sealed 3 times over the years but the water loss got to the point that I couldn't keep the chemicals balanced. I had to bury the pool, build a new pool or take one more shot at a repair. I went into this "pool refurbish project" as a skeptic and was ready to call "FOUL!" on anything that smacked of salesmanship or the "good as new" promise. Texas Fiberglass Pools assessed the pool; provided recommendations for a full overhaul: provided an itemized pricing proposal so that I could choose what I wanted to do with consideration given to cost; talked me through the pros and cons of my choices; and answered several rounds of questions so that I could become a relative expert on their process. AND, in addition, I tore apart their contract looking for "weasel clauses" and requested language to clarify my expectations of warranty and post-sale responsibility. They never showed fatigue or indicated that they wanted to fire me as a customer! The project was well managed. Workers were here early and worked six days a week. They left the work site orderly at the end of each day. They covered my back porch with plastic when they were sanding to prevent the dust from entering the house. They were respectful of my dogs and made certain gates were closed when they left each day. We had agreed on progress-pay through the course of the project. When payment was due, we sat down, walked through what was done and what remained and I wrote a check. The project took longer than expected. This was a combination of weather and Christmas holidays. Considering that it took be two months of questions and answers before I made a decision, I didn't complain. My decision process delayed the start and pushed us into the holidays. This work was done at the end of 2016. I had issues with the timers failing in 2017 and some minor tile problems in the spring of 2018 and again in 2019. When I call they respond. I don't feel like they took the money and ran. They have always done what they've said they would do so I trust they will respond should I have any issues going forward. I highly recommend Texas Fiberglass Pools, Inc . for pool repair. The cost was 1/3 the estimate to build a new pool and I have as close to a new pool as I can get. I finally have an attractive, serviceable pool that doesn't leak and I look forward to the swimming season each year."

"They were on time and very professional. They found the source of the leak, and gave me really good advice on what to do and who to call. They even fixed my front door that was sticking, swollen from the humidity. I wanted to pay them for the consultation or at least for fixing the door, but they didn´t charge me anything. These guys were so professional and honest! They went above and beyond by fixing my door! Their kindness speaks volumes about what a fair and ethical company these guys work for. Thank you! <br />"

"Called around a little for someone to come in and do some updates and a few odds and ends that I needed to get done for some time. We called and found out that this very nice gentleman lived nearby and he was very pleasant to speak with on the phone. He came out the next day and gave me a very fair price for a good load of work. The owner did all the work himself. He brought in his cleaning crew to clean up and they did the whole house. It was amazing. Well worth every penny. They will be doing my full kitchen and bathroom remodel in the near future. <br />"

"My fiancee was offered her dream job in a new city out of the blue. Because she had to report to work in two weeks everything about our move was very rushed. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to find someone to take over our lease until almost the very last minute. We contacted BDI cleaning to see if they could fit our job into their schedule. They were able to schedule our cleaning around the movers on just a few days notice. Their rates were very reasonable and the new tenants were very impressed with the job they did. We communicated with them by phone, texts and emails, and Justin always responded quickly no matter the medium we used. I highly recommend BDI Cleaning Service. We had a wonderful experience with them. <br />"
