"After firing the original contractor for non performance I retained Lou Sullivan of Carolina Decorative Concrete to clean up the mess left behind and install a new patio pretty much from scratch. Lou is personable, easy to work with, and immediately took charge of the project, indicating where the first contractor was going to make serious technical errors if we had followed the original plan. Lou and his team did an outstanding job in record time - Lou is extremely responsive, takes great care to produce an excellent quality result, and is very knowledgeable about concrete technology. "Dan Hogan is a genuine artist. We hired him to do acid staining on concrete in a basement room and garage floor for our client. The client picked out some pictures of what they wanted and Dan delivered. With the garage, he made it look like 3' x 3' tiles. It is unbelievable how good it turned out. Instead of doing acid stain, he did an overlay, and then did additional touches to each tile area as he darkened them up with the protective coating. His pricing was great also.
