"We contracted Do-Moore Home Improvements to completely rebuild a balcony that runs the entire width of our second story. The original structure, including the joists, had to be replaced. Kramer discussed the details with us thoroughly and paid close attention to what we wanted. He's a craftsman, and his work is excellent. He also left the jobsite very clean and free of debris. The new balcony is gorgeous! Kramer gave us a very reasonable price, and he was efficient, expert, and overall a pleasure to have working at our house. We'll be calling him for all our home renovations from now on!"

"The summer of 2018, we were extraordinarily fortunate to work with the 50-year-old, second generation Santa Fe firm of Babcock Construction known for their expertise in new construction and renovation. We had the benefit of all the Babcock principals of which there are three, the patriarch Joe, who founded the firm in 1968 and his two sons, Richard and Steve each with 45 and 40 years’ experience respectively. All three bring particular specialties, perspectives and gifts to any job. On the team were their long standing first rate sub-contractors: tile setter, electrician, plumber, painter plus their in house carpenters. Our expectations were high, since both of us have backgrounds in new construction, renovation and historic preservation. The job consisted of renovating our Tesuque, NM 3000 sq.’ adobe style stucco house with the work on the garden scheduled for next spring. The three qualities that were present throughout are on-time completion at every stage of the project and attention to a very high level of detail on all aspects of the job. Of equal importance on the job is their overarching belief in solutions, not problems, which dictated each day’s outcome throughout the two and a half months. Other qualities that the three brought were attentive listening and a high degree of collaboration with each other and the clients. This project was a complete success and a pleasurable collaboration also filled with moments of humor and kindness. We recommend them very highly for anything needed done on a house."

"Remarkably well! PCB laid the foundation last fall, 2019. They were careful to match its elevation to the existing house and didn't miss it by even a quarter inch. The main construction started om April 6, 2020 and finished on June 23, 2020. The work was done as per the approved plans and better. We were very impressed with the owners ( Mr. Felipe Silva) attention to detail and prompt responses to our questions or concerns and requested revisions or upgrades. The workmen conducted themselves very professionally and were highly skilled at their crafts. They were also a lot of fun to visit with. We were particularity pleased with the carpentry and roofing skill it took to blend the new addition into the original house and a prior addition. The tile work, cabinetry, counter tops, stucco and wall finishing/paint are all beautiful. Less visible is the plumbing and electrical work it took to tie the buildings together. Once again, very well done. The project came in on budget, plus the cost of the upgrades we requested, and had approved prior to work beginning. I'd recommend PCB to anyone interested in a quality remodel project. They are a really excellent group of people."

"I have a small galley kitchen, and there was never enough cabinet space, nor did I have an inside pantry. The upper cabinets didn't go all the way to the ceiling and above them was just wasted space. I brought in Poulin Design Center to see what they could do to improve the situation for me. The designer did a superb job, extending the cabinets to the ceiling to give me more space, and added a pantry plus more storage space for my cookbooks and small appliances. I couldn't be happier! The lowers were refaced to match the new uppers and now they look just like brand-new cabinets too. The new uppers are well made and beautiful! The installers worked very well together, knew exactly what they were doing, were precise and efficient and prompt. The new floor is beautiful as well. The tile installer was just as expert and efficient as the cabinet installers. They couldn't have done a better job if they tried. I am very happy with my beautiful "new" kitchen!"
