Climbing ladders to hammer Loose facia, fixing a window that was cracked, fixing a screen in a storm door thats on s roller(used to just pop the screen in and out). "Bruce and his guys did an excellent job! From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and hard working. As with any construction, there were a few things that came up along the way that couldn't be planned for. I appreciated the way Bruce kept in touch with me to let me know how things were going and any issues that arose. Two specific things that I feel give a great example of the kind of work Bruce does and the kind of person he is - - 1) When he came to do a walk through with his foreman the week before they started work, we discussed how they would block off the room so that my cats would not be able to get into the construction area while I was asleep and not home. There would be a temporary wall put up. The first day of construction, the foreman forget to put up the temporary wall when he left for the night. I called Bruce on his cell phone and he personally came out after hours in the pouring rain to put the temporary wall up for me. 2) When the fireplace was removed, it left a small section of the floor that needed to be filled in. We knew it would be very difficult to match the exact color of the existing floor, but we did not want to replace all of the floor. Bruce had told us he would do his best to get it to match, so when I saw the flooring that the foreman planned to use, I was concerned at just how different it was. Bruce went above and beyond to come up with a way to better match the flooring. In the end, he spent hours and hours getting the color perfect. You would never even know that the flooring is different! I think these two examples speak volumes of the kind of guy Bruce is and the business he runs. Not only very professional and reasonably priced, but just an all around good company and people to work with. I would recommend Kate Lesley over and over again to anyone who is needing some work done. I will certainly call them on any project I need done in the future!"

"The owner is self-employed who specializes in home repair and remodeling. The replacement of a the basement door was the third project done over a two year period. Previous projects in 2013 included installing ceiling fans, installing wood laminate flooring and baseboards in the master bedroom, and installing new base trim and installing a new staircase handrail. All baseboards and base trim were painted. <br /> In 2014, the current project required 12 hours to remove a deteriorating door frame and to make a new door frame to secure a new standard 6 panel steel door to fit into a non-standard opening. The project included adding vinyl trim and foam insulation. Everything was cleaned up following the work. <br />"

"We bought a 1920s house that needed a new kitchen. Mike gave us a very detailed estimate and recommended a kitchen designer to help me design the project. We decided to add a doorway through an exterior brick wall to create a doorway into the adjoining sunroom instead of removing the wall between the kitchen and formal dining room. This maintained the original character of the house while still giving some "flow" into the former sunroom. The walls and floors of both rooms were taken down to the studs and the new foam insulation was sprayed inside the walls of the sunroom. A new exterior door was installed out to the back porch, The entire kitchen and sunroom were sheet rocked and new tile floors installed to both rooms. The kitchen was wired, plumbed for gas and water and beautiful kitchen cabinets and granite installed. One thing Mike Von Behren is particularly good at is replacing/restoring the molding, baseboards and door frames to match the original millwork in the house. The finished kitchen/family room is a beautiful addition to this older home and we have enjoyed it very much. Working with Mike was a pleasure-communication was great and he is very detailed and has a great team. I would definitely recommend Von Behren for any home building/remodeling projects where quality, attention to detail and excellent communication are important concerns. <br />"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"
