"It finally came time for us to replace two old wooden garage doors. First I did some research on garage doors in general. Lots of info on the Internet. Then I did extensive research on quality garage door contractors in my area. Used Yelp and other sources. Came up with a list of five quality candidates and sent details to each for bids. Eliminated 3 in relatively short order for various reasons. Came down to two candidates for the same two door options (either a Clopay or a CHI) -- Academy and another contractor. I focused on all decisioning points -- service, price, features, warranty, etc. Both were very close on price so that was not a discriminating factor. However, all the other factors came out very much in favor of Academy. Our sales contact, Dave McLaughlin was superb. Knowledgeable, responsive, helpful. The two managers at HQ -- John and Alan -- also very professional and responsive. So I did the order with Academy and selected the Clopay doors. Doors arrived in the time period they said. Scheduled the install. Jim and Coach (two HUGE guys!) showed up and did the install. They were even able to deal with the fact that my floor was off level just a shade. Made the doors fit well. Thanks guys! So far so good! Love the new doors! SO much better than the old ones in every way. Now I have to fix up my house b/c the garage doors are now the best part!"

"The service went great. Two installers came out and completed the work in less than a day. They were very thorough and neat in their work. They had to move everything out of the garage and made sure to move everything back the way we liked. We have had no trouble at all with the system. We have been able to put it to good use and I feel like the quality of product is very durable. It brightens the garage space and makes everything so much nicer. We have not had to call in for any replacement parts. It was very easy to schedule the service, as well. I have recommended the company to others."

"We were planning to replace the carpet in the family room and the carpet company would not be responsible for moving our heavy player piano.  I contacted Majestic and explained the situation---they asked a few questions and gave me an estimate on the phone.  Two men appeared at the exact appointment time and went to work immediately.  I was concerned about the piano fitting through the doorway but they were reassuring, removing the door and replacing it when they finished.  They even placed the piano against the far wall of the garage so it would be out of the way. I was amazed that they could lift this monstrous piece of furniture and squeeze it through a doorway with less than an inch to spare! I would strongly recommend this company!"

Two women arrived on time and did not speak English at all. There was no way to communicate. However, the women were pleasant. Nothing was cleaned as needed. They billed me again for $175. So I was billed twice. I called Angie's List and they nicely refunded my credit card.

"Our movers (Seth and Derek) were WONDERFUL!!!!!  Seth had the move organized in a heartbeat; they worked ferociously (even though it was hot as h***!!); and they were friendly and polite.  My 24 year old daughter, who questioned the need for movers, said she would never move again without them!!! 
As to the folks we communicated with before the move (Joel mostly), they were very responsive, answered all my questions quickly, and stayed on top of the move, even though we had had to change the date.
We would happily recommend the Two Marines Moving company to ANYONE planning a move in this Wathington, DC, area! (Wish we could use them if and when we move back to TN!!!)

But he truly went the extra mile for us after completing the garage door repairs, by replacing a small piece of wood atop the garage door frame that had deteriorated and fixing the latch on our back gate, for free and without being requested to do so. I will definitely use Miguel and Servicemagic again for further home repairs as necessary."
