"Darren is not one of those contractors who talk you into signing the contract, then disappear and leave the work to a crew from Home Depot. He knows roofing and knows how to direct his crew, and they did a great job all the way around. Tried a few places and many were commercial only, and others priced themselves out of the job.  Kept looking at Angie's List and found Vance.  Sent an email and got a prompt reply back. He stopped by that weekend and left a card with a cost that was more in line with what I was willing to spend.
We went back and forth on when to come out (I'm a bit nosy that I like to see what's being done!) and found a day that worked.  Also happened to be a time that was going to have some nice weather for several days after so no moisture coming back down on the porch.  They came out when they said they would and the porch looks great!
Hopefully the seal lasts several years - we don't get a lot of foot traffic in that area and it's covered so I'm sure it will.
