He, then, thoroughly explained the roofing process and the materials to be used. He made sure all of our question were answered before preparing his proposal for the roof and gutter replacement. It was nonstop work from then until the old roof had been removed, the new roof installed and the area was clean up was completed by 6:30 PM. "MJA Contracting did a lot of work on my house as stated above from the roof to new windows siding a new deck around my pool cement some exterior doors will changed they did woodwork around my windows and the interior of the house everything was as discussed we knew the prices up front and the time frame that the work would be done. "The installation process went as planned. After the insulation, I expected a follow up to see how things went. After all, that's what happened after they did my window installation. No follow up took place. I gave it a few weeks to see if they would call or come by to see. After waiting I placed a call to address my concerns. The roof installation went fine, but they left debris on the brand new windows they installed along with splashing some black substance on my siding. I guess they expected the rain to wash it all away. They also left large piece of wood in my drive way and nails in my driveway and around my house. I was assured that someone would call me back since the members of the team handling my account was in a meeting. It is now been a week and no call back. That must be a heck of a meeting."

"Overall, I am very happy with the work. They actually completed it about 9 months ago, but I wanted to wait to see if any problems developed before fully commenting and I am happy to say all is well. Paragon was pretty prompt in following up on my initial inquiry with a detailed review of the work I wanted done and estimate that I could easily compare to others and note similarities and differences. In the end, the estimate was within 5% or so of the actuals even when unexpected situations arose once the walls were opened. The crew arrived early on most days and worked diligently. There was no "drama" with workers not showing up, not getting along or not doing what they were supposed to do. The only complication that weighed down my assessment was that within the first week of the work starting, the project manager left due to medical reasons. While this could not be avoided, this meant that there was no project manager on my job to keep me apprised of the plans for the week, etc. Tom, the owner, stepped in and personally managed the job for the duration. While I think he did an admirable job, I'm sure that this was difficult to manage with everything else. As we got to parts of the project where work was done but had to wait for inspections, the value of having a dedicated project manager was apparent. There were days that the guys were not scheduled to come and I didn't know that until about 9 am when no one was here, and I called the office. Or maybe they only needed to come for a few hours vs the whole day, and I was not informed in advance. Having said all this, I think overall things went well and I have received many compliments. Everything was done in about 2 1/2-3 months and I was never without a working toilet and shower. I would use them again for similar work."

"We needed the roof ripped off down to the boards.  The contractor stated they had to change boards but all was included in my price.  They showed up on time as stated and with a big crew,that were knowledgeable.  The roof was ripped off quickly and they immediately got to reroofing.I walked around the house with the contractor and everything looked great and they did a greatjob cleaning up afterwards. The gutters look great as well, love the seamless look."
