"When I first met Edwin he was very polite. He promised to follow the explicit details of the project which were to match existing fence. He said he would start in two weeks. When he finally showed up it had been a month. He stayed for a few hours and went home sick after having brought a small amount of disgraceful materials. I mistakenly agreed to pay $300 for these in advance. The wood was cracked, some posts too large and the boards the wrong species. After being instructed not to use a specific post he did so anyway. Then proceeded to make the gate a foot shorter than fence. After he left I noticed the cross bars were pine which he argued and lied over until Angi got involved. To keep job he agreed to get cedar like the original fence. By then I had had enough manipulation and childishness. He insisted on finishing job and I did not want him to. So in fear he would, I had to keep and move the materials he lazily left. If I do not get my $300 back I am glad because the gentleman working for him was very kind and I don’t want Edwin having an excuse not to pay him. Edwin is dishonest, and immature. I do not recommend him! My parents recently passed away and I wanted the project done for my Mother at least by Father’s Day. I am disabled and my puppy who is helping me to survive is not safely contained in my front yard. The Summer is wasted because I cannot empty the garage and get my home ready for a future PCA. Edwin knows not what he did and didn’t do. Do not hire this person and God Bless!"

"Dan was great work with. He came out and discussed my options and listened to my ideas of what I wanted. Together we came up with the best solution for my fencing needs. The build took two days and the end result is fantastic. We get compliments on the fence whenever we have guests over. "If you need a fence, then you need DURABLE FENCE. Felipe and Geraldo did an AMAZING job on my white vinyl fence. They showed up on time and got to work! By the time I took my dog for a 20 minute walk they already had my old 14 panels of wood fence down and were starting on the first post! These guys mean business. Fence came out FLAWLESS! They even made sure to backfill any gaps under the fence just in case my dog tried to wiggle his way under it. I had been reaching out to McDonough Fence for over a year to request a quote to fix our fence (it had detached due to erosion over time), however, after repeated calls and finally speaking with the sales rep who conveyed disinterest in assisting (he happened to mention that he went to the property back in October, however, I was never updated that he had stopped by). He further mentioned that he didn't see an issue with having to fix it....I mentioned it was being held together with a bungee cord. I called Ideal Fence and left a message. Within an hour, Mark Nilan called and said he would stop by and take a look at both the stockade fence and the chain link which also needed to be re-aligned. Within a day, I had a call back, Mark sent over a quote and the guys were out there fixing the fences by the end of the week. The work was beautifully done. It was such a relief not having to continue to follow-up with emails, calls, etc. I wish I had reached out sooner to Mark and his team. "I received quotes for three different options - the cedar fence, an alternative in vinyl, and a repair of the broken fence. The sales guy was very easy to get hold of and provided the quotes promptly. I went with the cedar and it was installed in two days. For some reason, the old fence posts had been sunk in concrete, and all the concrete had to be removed. The yard was cleaned up both days, and the fence came out really nice. <br> <br>18 months later, the fence still looks good."
