Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. Coen Brothers Construction also expertly handled all necessary permits and inspections, keeping me informed every step of the way. Let me start on how professional they were in every step of the way walking me through what needed to be done. I first hired them to help me sell an old victorian home built in 1900. I had a water pipe break and flood my dining room. James cam to my home and removed all the water damage to the ceiling and walls and was very skilled to repair everything back to the way it was originally. He also helped me clear up a few points on a home inspection and the one I was most impressed with was a front door railing that he built from scratch and matched the time period with great precision. I also hired James to look at a deck on my new home in Westminster. He showed me all the damaged areas and was able to explain to me the process of repair. This was a full demo of the old deck and rebuild. I am very happy with the deck as I know now it is built correctly and safe."
