Here's a little bit about me: I was recently bit by the interior design and home improvement bug, and started making all sorts of upgrades to my own home -- replacing ceiling fans and light fixtures, installing dimmer switches (which I highly recommend, by the way), buying new furniture (that had to be assembled), hanging new decor, etc. So, I originally started doing handiwork as a way to save money improving my own home.
