That in itself was a new experience for me, compared to waiting several days, or longer, or to no call back at all with other contractors. Don himself came the next day and gave me an estimate. Don was very responsive, either answering right when I called or calling back within a very short time. Price wise, he wasn't the cheapest bid or the most expensive bid, but was right in line with the average going price for such services. This was one of the most pleasurable experiences I've ever had with a contractor. I am so happy with my deck. It's just beautiful. "We had a great experience working with Premier.  Jake came out promptly to bid the job.  We knew we wanted a wooden deck and he gave us a lot of information about our various options.  We selected the grade of redwood he recommended and decided to pay for staining on both sides.  The price quoted for the job was right in line with the bid we had already received from another experienced deck builder.  Jake suggested one alteration in the design -- wider steps -- which we accepted, and are really glad we did.  We selected Premier because Jake seemed more flexible and responsive to our concerns, less of the "my way of the highway" attitude we felt from the other bidder.  We were given a start date of 2/1, and though we expected delays due to rain, the crew was out there the morning of the first by 7 a.m.  Enrique, the main carpenter, and his helpers were fantastic.   The design for the deck included, complex angles, wide steps, a tricky built-in planter box and wooden railings.  It was clear that Enrique could not do anything less than perfectly, and we have a beautiful deck to show for it.  When we or the builders needed to contact the Premier office, Jessica, the office manager, responded immediately to calls or emails.  Jake cooperated fully with us and our designer and everything went very smoothly.  My husband and I could not be happier. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>"

"It went incredibly well. Ignacio spent a lot of time with us working on the design and budget. While this company is not the cheapest on the market, in this case you truly get what you paid for. Ignacio's design took our breath away. The texture and color of the stamped concrete is beautiful. The extra patio space transformed an ugly weird patio to a masterpiece. The flagstone topped retaining walls easily provides seating for more people than we know. The color coordination between the concrete, the flagstone, and the stucco faced retaining walls is very pleasing to the eye. Unique' s crew is one of the best that I have had the pleasure to have working for me. I have never seen a harder working crew. The truly gave us a full 9 hours of back breaking work. The job superb Roberto was fantastic, easy to work with and to communicate. Ignacio made it a point to stop by every day. As with all construction there are issues, broken water lines, sprinkler lines, irrigation control cables. Roberto took immediate care of any and all such issues. He did a great job in keeping my stress levels low. <br /> <br />This may be the best hardscape company in the Bay Area. The attention to detail is exceptional.
