The patio bricks are all square and level. The contour looks great. They had to cut many of the patio bricks because the wall has several curves. They dug down and put a gravel foundation under the wall. For the spring clean-up they trenched around and weeded all of our mulch beds and trimmed all of our shrubbery. They then re-mulched all of our beds. They cleaned up all residue before they finished. We are very pleased with the overall look of our landscaping. I would highly recommend them. Their prices were very fair and their work was excellent and timely. They are coming back to trim a tree and then we will have them back next spring for clean-up."

"I met with the owner Micah Dean on a Friday we talked through all the yard issues. He listened  understood exactly what I wanted done.  He said the entire job could be completed in five days.  Although it rained on one of the scheduled work days, they still completed the job on time.   There were several different crews working from fencing to landscaping and they were all very professional and  responsive as the job progressed.  After some of the large bushes were torn out from between the houses I asked if an 8' shrub (after the fact and 3 days into the project) could be placed in the side yard to provide some privacy right at the kitchen door.  The next day... there it was!   When the project was completed I could not believe the transformation.  Micah and his crew really enjoy what they do, and customer satisfaction is important to them.  This is reflected in the quality of their work.  
As a side note, I also had a very large limb that had fallen and was hanging on the power line (the week before I contracted with Dean Landscaping) from my neighbor's tree.  Micah had arranged to have it hauled away, since it had taken the power company so long to respond.  The power company did finally arrive and removed it, however it was very reassuring to know I had a backup plan.  
I couldn't be more pleased with Dean Landscaping.  I will definitely be calling them in the future to have additional work done.

"First of all I want to say that giving someone an "F" rating just because they did not get back to you from a phone call is a bit harsh. I got to know Skip very well during the install of my fence and he's an honest hard working guy who cares very much about his clients. I think the issue is that he's handling multiple roles as his business grows. He's the receptionist, accountant, quote provider, installer and leader of his guys. I can see how he would miss a call here or there. Regarding the fence he installed: I received proposals from several companies, Skip had the best price with good reviews to match. He was scheduled out about 4 weeks but I was willing to wait. The best way to communicate with Skip was via text. He always got back to me and I didn't expect him to always drop everything he was doing and instantly respond. Skip and his team completed the fence on the week he scheduled and the fence turned out beautiful. They installed a 6' cap and trim western red cedar privacy that my wife and I customized. He was very open to the options and requests we wanted and had great ideas of his own. He had two other guys with him and they were all very professional and worked hard. You could tell right away how much they cared about the quality of the work when they spent hours measuring and aligning to make sure the fence following the contour of the yard. The quality of the fence is outstanding and every detail was completed with precision. Skip also installed two custom built gates for us and put on the post caps we picked out. When they were done they cleaned everything up. I would recommend Skip and Elite Fence and hire them again in a heartbeat."
