"Looked for someone to clean my drains outside and saw Grumpy's Drain Service - name drew me in, family owned with photo had me calling. We had someone out within a couple of hours and could not have been more pleased. Professional, knowledgeable, fast & efficient - could not have asked for better. Kinda reminded me of what I grew up with - down home trustworthiness, honesty, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I will highly recommend to anyone and would use them again."

"Our CPVC house piping had a lot of water hammer. After turning on the washing machine, I walked out for a moment, and then when I came back in water was dripping from the ceiling exhaust fan onto the washing machine. We have a two story house and they ran the hot water plumbing from the water heater in the garage through the laundry room ceiling. I removed the exhaust fan and could see water dripping from a tee way back beyond reach. The water hammer from the washer likely caused the fitting to start leaking. I turned the house water supply off and sent a message to Simpson plumbing through Angie's list. A lady from Simpson plumbing contacted me right away the next morning. She was courteous, but was having a hard time understanding what the problem was. Maybe I was giving too much information or something, but when the plumbers arrived later that afternoon they didn't understand what was going on. I ran through what happened again and showed them the wet spot on the ceiling. They had to cut an opening in the ceiling and we turned the water on and confirmed the leak. We moved my washing machine out of their way and they cut out the CPVC tee and replaced it with PEX. The piping was brittle so it took him a couple of attempts to get a straight cut which is why I called them to mess with it. After installing the PEX tee, we were leak free and at my request they provided a reference for the drywall repair. He also advised getting some water hammer arrestors installed on the supply lines to the washing machine to stop the water hammer, which I have since done."

"Advised there would be a hole in the wall that I would need to repair after replacing and installation. Wish I would have known that prior. Not sure if that is my negligence? Had to run to store as did not have all parts to finish. Advised I would get charged for that? Have not seen the bill for it however so maybe they realized it was their issue. All in all it was quick and we have a functional water faucet.

"I found them a very delightful human being. The installation went well except the plunger which didn't work. They assured me that there were coming back to fix that, but they haven't been back yet. I had them booked for the next job. They did such a great work that my daughter is interested to hire them. I would definitely highly recommend them to anybody. They were fast and efficient. They did a terrific work. I enjoyed having them here. I certainly would not have anybody else come in their place. They have a lifetime customer as long as they come back to fix the plunger. The price is a bit higher than the other quotes that I had, but I would rather pay more and have it done correctly."

Still waiting for a couple of things to be finished, but now that I found out there was some illness in the family, it explains the long wait to get these things done. The cabinets are a beautiful Alder wood and now I can't wait to get some backsplash tiles to go with them."
