"I needed to replace the roof on my home and did due diligence and gathered about 4 estimates from highly rated companies in the DMV area. Complete Roofing Solutions was the least expensive and the customer service experience was the best. We agreed to move forward with the project on 5/11 with the understanding that they had about a 2-week backlog. By Monday night, 5/14, we were experiencing pretty severe leaks through duct work and vents below where sections of the existing roofing material had been degraded or fallen off. I called Complete Roofing Solutions that same night and asked if there was anything they could do to temporarily cover the problem area until they could do the full new roof installation. Chris Onoffrey, their project coordinator, instead cleared their installation schedule for 5/15 and told me they would be out Tuesday morning and I'd have a new roof by the start of predicted showers Tuesday evening. He was true to his word. By Tuesday evening I had a brand new roof: shingles, underlayment, ice shield, flashing, ridge vent, and sheathing sections of sheathing. "Lumbee Roofing Solutions did an excellent job under emergency circumstances. Our roof in Temple Hills, MD was significantly damaged by the March 2, 2018 windstorm. We found Lumbee on Angie's List after we discovered the damage, and contacted them the next business day. Despite a heavy workload created by the storm, Mr. Barnes himself (Lumbee's owner) inspected our roof 48 hours later, gave us a written estimate (with photos of damages) that evening, and fully repaired our roof the following day. I eliminated one company that would not provide an estimate unless they could present it in person with my wife present (code for high-pressure sales). The second company was great, but did not get their bid to me until almost a week after they promised it. By comparison, Joe Makay got right back to me on first contact and every time I had a question. He was able to work my project into the schedule within a week and got got the entire large and complex job done in just two days. The end result was outstanding and well worth the price. I only rated their price as a B because their cost was somewhat higher than the other (larger) company that bid; however I went with Mckay because they were more responsive and customer service focused. I felt confident they would take good care of me and they did just that."
