"PRO: <br /> CEDAR SIDING - STRIPPING / RE-FINISHING WENT REASONABLY WELL AND 2-3 YEARS LATER STILL LOOKS GOOD. <br /> CON: <br /> THEIR ARE A FEW PLACES WHERE THE FUNGUS WAS NOT COMPLETED REMOVED. THEY ALSO LEFT A FAIR AMOUNT OF PULP IN THE CHANNELS VIA THE STRIPPING PROCESS. <br /> THE PAINT ON GARAGE DOORS BUBBLED UP AND HAD TO BE RE-PAINTED. THIS COMPANY WAS NON-RESPONSIVE WHEN I CONTACTED THEM ABOUT THE PROBLEMS WITH THE GARAGE DOORS, SO I AM IN THE PROCESS OF STRIPPING THE DOORS AND RE-FINISHING THEM MYSELF. <br />"

"Contacted them on Angies List for an estimate, they called and set-up a time to come out. Quoted the job for B-1, 559  , they came out 5 days later to start the job. They showed up at 08:00 each day and worked diligently the whole time, they did a superb job and the house looks great! Even got an estimate to paint the exterior of the house ($ 4, 5 ? ) I highly recommend these guys!"

"Due to a rainy season there were significant weather delays in performing the job. However Bob kept in touch and communicated well about his projected schedule. He and his help were friendly, professional, and communicated very well about the work in progress. The completed job has an excellent appearance and completely met my expectations. "We did not use Restoration Painting for our exterior painting project because his estimate was $2100-$3500 higher than the other estimates we recieved (4 total estimates) . The cost difference could not be explained by the preparation of the house, number of coats, painting technique (spray and back rolled each coat) , quality of paint or primer used or the incidental repairs we discussed. We liked Steve, but just couldn't use him for that cost when there were other painters offering a similiar quality service for less. <br /> I had a conversation with another highly recommended local painter who was familiar with my house and he said a house my size and condition is typically in the +/-$6000 range. I would have hired that guy, but he didn't respond to my phone message requesting an estimate (he had accidently deleted the message and realized it later when he was cleaning out the deleted messages on his phone, which is when he called me to apoloigize for not responding to my message). <br /> I suppose we should have called Steve and asked him to clarify why his estimate was so high. Maybe he would have revised it or given a good explanation about what he was offering that was worh that much more money. Somehow I think he is charging more based on his reputation, but I can't afford to pay that much extra money just for a name. <br /> The painter I did hire was competent (although a little bit of a a stress queen and difficult to deal with personality). Now my house has a good coat of paint on it that will protect it and last for several years. <br />"

"The price was fantastic. (The bidder later complained to me that the job actually took more work than he thought. Not my problem buddy) The prep guys moved some furniture off the deck, took it apart and lost all the hardware. That was a bummer. The paint guys were great. House looked great. BUT: When the paint started bubbling and peeling in a couple spots the next summer, nobody returned my various calls about it. There is supposed to be a warranty. <br />"

"I received a postcard as a reminder for seasonal gutter cleaning. I called & scheduled immediately since I had used them earlier in the year with fantastic results. On the scheduled day, I received a phone call stating that they were not going to make it and asked if the following day would work. It did, however, I would not be home for any questions. I was assured that if anything came up they would give me a call. I came home to an invoice stuck in my door, which was good because I had forgotten they were coming. When I pulled up to the house I noticed no trace that they had even been there. I was very pleased to find that my gutters were cleaned & the kamakazi bird poo was off the window. There was no debris in the yard, no trash left lying around, and all was clean. Awesome work yet again. I will definitely use these guys again & again. <br />"
