"It is very misleading to have on your website" no job too big or too small" and not honor that. We contacted them regarding a concrete slab that was needed in our back yard and was told over the telephone that the job was too small and they were not willing to do it. Please don't advertise that if it cannot be honored."

"Naji and his team were very courteous from the start. It was a pleasure doing business with a company that cares most about the customer’s satisfaction totally. The weather dragged it out and one little mishap but they were very honest and finished in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the finished product and would recommend Royal Made Concrete Company 100%!"

"I consulted with Rob to remove some trees and to discuss placing a root barrier at the front of my home.  I have had some cracking inside the house and had been advised to install a root barrier for some oak trees in the front yard.  Rob gave me an estimate for the oak trees but on examining the house and yard said that the trees were quite small to be causing that damage, as well as that the damage was not located where it would be expected if due to the trees.  He placed a call to consult with a local foundation expert including video of the trees and the cracked expansion joint on the side of my house.  At the same time while he was examining the property he recognized that right next to where the foundation damage is occurring, there is a part of the yard that is chronically waterlogged.  Once he pointed it out it was clear that this is the source of the foundation damage, particularly since we've had severe droughts in the last several years but this part of the lawn is usually very wet.  Rob also spoke with the adjacent neighbor on that side about drainage issues in his lawn, as some of the water is coming from the neighbor's irrigation.  The drainage system he installed cost 600$, whereas the root barrier would have been $3,000 and wouldn't have fixed the problem.  So I really feel that Rob's honesty, experience, and thorough evaluation of our problem saved us a ton of money, corrected an issue with the lawn we've had since moving in, and rescued our foundation.
The tree removal was great.  All of the work was done in about seven hours, and there was no clutter or mess left.  I will definitely be a repeat customer for landscaping needs in the future."

"This is an engineered wall which is intended to preserve the clay pad upon which our home was constructed.  The home is on a downhill slope.  The contractor respected all manufacturer recommendations regarding installation.
The crew seemed seasoned, both in terms of the type of work, and also as a working team.  The management partners are hands on participants and spent every day on site.
The project included not only hardscaping, but also plumbing and electrical aspects.  The crew seemed comfortable performing the required tasks.
We found the guys to be pleasant to have around.  Given that the blocks weigh about 50 lbs each, the temperature was as high as 105, and the work surface challenging, the cheerful smiles were actually something of a miracle.
We had agreed generally on the wall design, but left many design decisions up to them.  We are very pleased with the aesthetics of the final product.  Their instincts are good.
Our greatest frustration was probably with regard to communication and scheduling, BUT this job was booked during the most rainy Spring on record, and the installation took place over a 2.5 week period when temps were above 100 every day.  That at
least partially explains the delayed start and the longer than expected execution.  At those temperatures, a break is required after about every 20 minutes of labor.
The above concerns are offset by the fact that because management is on-site, feedback is immediate and there are no communication problems during the project execution."

"I used Bay Coast Plumbing because they were recommended by a friend.  I called to schedule and they were able to come the next day.   The plumber and his assistant arrived on time.  They discussed options for removing the shower handle, and decided to cut it off with a saw.  They explained that this would likely break the cartridge, but they had an extra part with them.  The removal went fine.  I had bought a replacement handle, but apparently it was a newer model and would not work.  They called a supplier, but they also did not have the older model.  So, they were unable to install the new shower handle.  Since we had paid for an hour, and they had done about 20 minutes of work, I asked them to remove two sink faucets from the bathroom, which we were also planning to replace ourselves.  He was able to remove both sinks in the time, but not to hook up the new ones.  They also had to allow about 10 minutes to write up the job.  I had asked about having Moen send replacement parts, but they said that it would likely take over a month and recommended that we order them from a local plumbing supply company.
In the end, I was able to get Moen to send the replacement parts for free (I paid a small amount for expedited shipping) in about 3-4 days.  We installed it ourselves, as well as finished installing the two new sink faucets.
The work was done fine.  I was not impressed with the professionalism of the plumber.  He seemed to be exasperated by having to explain why the handle I had would not work.  He did not want to do the work on the sink faucets because he would not be able to complete it, even though I had already paid for the time - although he did do it in the end.  He and his partner were dressed in dirty jeans and boots, and they smelled like cigarette smoke.  They sat in the van and smoked while I was waiting for them to write up the job so I could pay.
Overall, I think this company does good work at a reasonable price.  They had good knowledge and skills.  They were lacking only in the professionalism department, and may be a good choice if that is not as important to you as price.
