"Critical: Professionalism, Value I called Omega to check out smoke transfer between flues. Al quoted flue top dampers at $900 each and cleanings at $300 each. He said he would need to schedule a day to do the work. Thinking this must be an extensive project, I bought it. Ten days later I finally was called to say they would come that afternoon to do it. After the cleaning they glued dampers to the tops of the flues and were done in about 45 minutes. Al defended his $750/hour labor rate and double cleaning rate, saying it was due to his "high overhead" costs that I didn't understand. I still don't understand. Omega Construction is aptly named, they are the last one you should think of calling. They apparently only maintain their good BBB rating because the BBB doesn't consider "pricing issues" or "buyer's remorse" in their calculations. BBB is basically another way to advertise."

"They repaired my basement leak, but left me with another nightmare, when they completed the project, they left me with another nightmare outside problem. My backyard is completely flooded and has flowed into my neighbor's yard. When the job was completed I asked about the continuous water flow and was told give it a few days and you'll be okay. Well I gave it a week and my backyard is submerged under water, I can't go outside to use it, can't cut grass cause it's so soggy. I called for two weeks with no response, only the operator telling me that I was on high priority? Finally I get a call from Bruce and he asked if I could take pictures of my problem, I did and he called back shortly and said that's it was my problem and that they only do basement repairs, and that I need someone to come out and fix that, but I told him I didn't have that problem before he fixed my basement. And that they don't access outside of the home, and couldn't gage what would happen after the repair. He then said from the pictures I probably had hard soil and that might be my problem for the water staying up top, hard to believe for me but that was his answer, wasn't their issue, end of conversation. Well they repaired my basement and transferred it to my backyard, thanks Foundation System of Michigan!"

I accepted the bid and, while we got off to a few false starts, the work was completed in April 2025. The crew that came out was professional, efficient, and very respectful of my property. The chimney and tuck point repair work that they completed was professionally done and you could tell that they took great pride in Their work from the pictures that they showed me of the completed job. "Everdry did a total basement system for us. Brandon and his crew were amazing at walking through each step in the project, keeping us updated on timelines, and great overall communication. Amazing crew they had. Only reason total experience was 4 stars was the high pressure sales "free inspection". After a thorough walkthrough (which was appreciated), we sat down to a timeshare-esque presentation of their system. Everydry seems to have one big project type, which as someone who hasn't had any previous basement work was needed for our case. After he presented his solution and suggested the total system, he gave us a number that was not itemized or broken down, but just a total projected cost. When we said we'll think about it, the cost came down by 10% if we signed up that day before he left. We again said we'll think about it (even if we had to pay the original estimate). He finally came back with a "final" offer of almost 25% off if we could start on 3 days since a crew was on standby and needed a job. We eventually ended up signing then. Would have been an easy 5* review had he just done the walkthrough and allowed us to get some other opinions or quotes before moving forward with them. That said, the work appears to be fantastic, appreciated the total system, and again the crew, lead by Brandon, was amazing. Left our basement clean and walked us through each new addition to our basement system. Thanks for all your help."

"Troy and his team were so wonderful throughout this entire process! Troy came out over a year ago to quote - he spent nearly 4 hours on my property making sure that he understood exactly what was going on with each of my buildings. He took several pictures and gave a very estimate. I had several other companies come out to provide quotes & they just simply weren't as thorough or kind. Troy continued to follow up and once we were able to budget for the project, he came out and made sure nothing had changed. Throughout the job he took TONS of pictures so I didn't have to go under the building to check it out. They were professional & very respectful of our business operations. "Dave Pearson, Matt, & Jacy were prompt, friendly, respectful to us and our home, professional, and worked hard all day. They hauled out trash & muck from the crawlspace, leveled it, did mold abatement, installed two new sump pumps, dug new drainage inside and outside, insulated the foundation walls, installed a permanent dehumidifier, and encapsulated the entire crawl space. They cleaned up the mess at the end of each work day without prompt. We enjoyed having this work crew in our home and would request the same crew if further services are needed."
