I asked him to repair the tongue and groove flooring and parts of the railing on a large wrap around porch His carpentry skills were truly excellent. He pressured washed, sanded and cleaned it, followed by a meticulous staining job. I accepted his bid of $1,500, but when he arrived, the contract that he wanted me to sign was for $2,000. I did not have a problem with the $2,000 price.
