"Freedom Fence & Deck did a fantastic job replacing our 35-year-old wood fence with a beautiful white vinyl fence. Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. A certain kind of handle had to be ordered, and as soon as it came in, he came back to install it. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. And the new fence has completely transformed the look of our property—we’ve already had several compliments from neighbors. The whole process couldn’t have gone better, and I’m happy to recommend Freedom Fence & Deck for all your fencing needs!"

"Mark Roberts and the building crew were excellent! They removed our 384 sq. foot wood deck completely and installed a composite deck the same size. It is absolutely beautiful and we are getting compliments from everyone! Mark did a really good job inspecting our existing structure, explaining things to us, drawing up ideas for what we wanted (we originally wanted a deck/patio combo but the county wouldn't approve the permit), and helping us get a site survey. Mark came back after the county denied our original permit and did all the paperwork over again to get a full deck. He was very helpful and accommodating. The crew that worked on the project were very professional and worked very quickly. They did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves. There were no surprise costs and the job was done in about a week and a half. We have had to deal with some very poor contractors in the past when it came to our deck so we were skeptical but Deck and Fence Company did better than we expected. "Fichtner Services did an outstanding job installing a standing seam metal roof to a front portico that has both curved metal panels and hipped sections. Due to the shape and some intricate details, other companies said they could only do it using copper material, but Fichtner Services offered that they could do it in either steel, aluminum, or copper. We chose 24ga coated steel material, and Fichtner prepared template and ordered custom barrel section panels. When the installation crew first arrived, the project manager and crew leader explained how the work would proceed, answered questions clearly, and easily adjusted to a slight change requested to the front edge form of the roof. The crew demonstrated they were very talented in cutting and folding the metal sections and installing the system with 1” standing seams. The workmanship was excellent and we were very happy with the result. All communication with Fichtner Services was very professional, and responses to questions very prompt. We would definitely hire them again."

"They remodeled our walk-in basement and did a great job. We now have a handicapped accessible bathroom, a lovely utility room, a bedroom/study, and a repainted playroom. Some highlights include: 1. Thoughtful and tactful input on the design. They got my input before framing the new rooms, and helped me imagine the space so that I could see the originally planned utility room would be too small 2. Extreme patience with finicky decorating decisions. I changed tack several times mid project. I decided to use vinyl wood instead of carpet, I bought four different sets of light fixtures and then changed my mind repeatedly, and came up with a fancy and complex arrangement of tile in the bathroom. Each time they simply updated the labor and cost estimate and rolled with the changes. I also changed out the plan several times for the shower seat. Each time they gave intelligent feedback and rolled with the changes. 3. My son had an unexpected severe asthma reaction to some of the dusty parts of the remodeling. They worked to minimize the dust with extra filters on the ventilation system and changed the plastic sheeting arrangement. It helped. 4. The quality of the detail in the work is great. I am a very particular person. I like things to be clean and square--and they did an excellent job with all the details, especially the tile and the trim. 5. They cleaned up after themselves very well. 6. A few weeks after the job was done we found a few minor things--a light switch had gotten painted over and stuck, for example. They came out and fixed it quickly, and also installed my fourth set of light fixtures with no complaint. 7. Also the bathroom looks like it's from a magazine now. And the utility room. An attractive utility room is a whole new level of wow, and I've got it. Would hire again."
