"Our job request was for the installation of two custom-built cabinets for our dining room. Doing my due diligence, I got four estimates from local contractors, ranging from a very large regional company, to a friend-of-a-friend. EMC sent their agent Mark to look over the job. Out of the four estimates we got, Mark spent the most time with us, going over possible electrical changes such as moving wall switches, outlets and an HVAC vent. He considered plaster patching and painting and trim work. He went into the basement to see the wiring and vent configurations. He estimated how long the job would take and promised a written estimate the next day. He did not try to upsell or push for work that we did not need.
