"We have an older home.  It had a small gas heater in the bathroom that I seldom used since I had central heat & air installed.  On several occasions I would smell gas.  I called the gas company to see if there was a leak.  They informed me that it was on "MY" side of the meter and they would shut it off till I could have someone to look for leaks.  I called several places and Welch Plumbing was the only place that would even say they would come out to check.  The other places said they did not do that kind of work.  (These were referred to me by the gas company!)  I was without gas for 4 days! <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> When the crew from Welch Plumbing came out they advised me that I had several (about 10) leaks in my lines. Remember the older house? They told me that if I had 3 or less they could fix but with that many the recommended me to replace the lines.  I agreed and they did an excellent job!  Each time they had to come into the house they insisted on wearing booties over their shoes even though I told them it was not necessary on my part.  I have a gas stove top and water heater.  They installed new connections for each of these with quick cut offs.  I am very pleased with the work.  It has been over a year since they installed the new gas lines and I have had no problems. <br />"
