I chose CertainTeed because it was the only manufacturer to sell Cool Roof shingles here in Raleigh, NC and also because it manufactures shingles in Oxford, NC. I was referred to Artisan by a local building supply company sales rep, who had a glowing opinion of them. I selected Artisan for the job because they were certified with CertainTeed and were able to direct me to an actual example of what the installed shingles would look like. I was impressed by how quickly I was issued a quote at a fair price with an attractive pricing structure. I was also impressed by the meticulous attention to details noticed by their sales rep who visited to issue and explain the quote. The Artisan team was uniformly friendly, knowledgeable, professional and well-organized. My 4000 square foot roof was replaced in one day and on the date it was scheduled for."

Upon inspection, I was informed the job was going to be easier than expected and reduced the price originally quoted over the phone. While up on the the roof, Christopher Carrothers took pictures of his repair, plus the flashing for the two bathroom vents to show they should have a touchup, which I agreed after seeing the pictures. There was an additional and acceptable charge for the touchup; which was very reasonable. Christopher did quality work and was able to come out the same day after his scheduled work was completed. The pictures he took were a great help in seeing the work he had done and in seeing the condition of the other two vent tubes flashing. Christopher told me that his company does other home related work, which I will keep in mind for any future home repair work."

A&M handled my insurance claim; I had minimal contact with my insurance company. Work crew arrived at 6:30 AM, started work at sun up; completed job in 1 day. Work crew covered my bushes, plants and driveway; they moved pots and replaced everything back where they were. Their clean up was complete. I picked up nothing around my property. "I called for estimate Arron responded and was there next morning. He inspected roof on the outside and inside. He went in my attic and showed me his findings with flashlight. Arron inspected my chimmey and advised the best option to fix it and his crew fixed my siding that had come loose from 20 plus years of wind and deteriorating. Arron sat me down and explained EVERYTHING in the estimate down to the materials used and the type of premium shingles he uses that alot of homeowners are not familiar with.. Arron explained how the work would be done and when. I was scheduled for 2 to 3 weeks out, but Arron explained he may call to do it earlier, if weather stopped him from doing a larger job, he would fit me in. He did and Arron completed my roof from estimate to completion in 6 days. His crew completed my job in one day. Arrons crew arrived 7am and was gone before 5pm with not a clue they was even there, other than my new roof. All debris was gone. Arron arrived before 7am and set up his dump trailer and made sure parking and access was safe for his crew. Materials arrive before or with crew and I got out of the way. Arron had a 12 man or more crew that was rolling. Arrons crew fixed my siding on my chimmey while replacing flashing and recommended me getting a chimmey cap for my very large chimmey, but assured the flashing and roof will not leak, of I don't. I chose the upgraded shingles and the work is beautiful, but most importantly, no leaks. This was a important deal for me and my family.
