I admit that I was told, up front of their service charge for coming out. However, they were the only professionals that were willing to come out. As for the door the service man, he was the one that discovered the door was damaged, it has been returned. As for the dog door being installed, that has been ‘tabled’ now. Now, granted, I was informed ahead of time of all the expenses from the company, and I agreed to it. As to their work, I can not comment because they did not do any, their work may be excellent. The service man that came out was able to get me a deduction for any future work. As for me, this has been an expensive lesson, that has been learned."

"My garage door would not properly open and close, so I checked the list for a reliable service company with a tune up deal.  Chris came out Thursday and checked the door, identifying that it was cracked, causing it to sag in the middle, and the track was warped.  Unfortunately, the bottom two panels were cracked, so a tune up or repair were not possible.  Chris called Andrew who was able to get me a quote on the spot for next day installation.  Tony and Henry came out Friday afternoon and completed the install, ensuring the everything worked properly. They worked quickly and efficiently and let the work site clean of debris and hauled away the old parts.  The price on the door and install was somewhat higher than others I found on-line but the quick turn-around and friendly service even that out.

"First I would like to say I would NOT HESITATE to hire Miracle Method Surface Restoration from Kensington, MD again. The office receptionist (Margaret) and the two gentlemen that did the cut out and install (Carlos and Luis) were EXCELLENT and I would rate them an "A" in all aspects of their roles in the company. The C responsiveness and C Punctuality related to the following: (1) a prearranged appointment resulted in a no show by the company head (this is not our residence); and (2) the representative that did come the next day did not have any photos of previous work or paperwork to move the project ahead. If it wasn't for Margret in the front office we would not have used this company; however, she went out of her way to get a photo of a cut out, ensured that the proposal was revised for details, and scheduled the work. Like I said in the beginning, I would gladly hire and recommend this company. Just be sure to confirm appointments."

"I would say the plumbing was good but the drywall, I would give it a B or a C. It was not good. I think it was high. The thing is like they didn't even...the drywall was fixed but I see some places like painting which was left that way which is drying up now. I have to scratch it off. So I would say a D for quality. The response was good."

"It was a pleasure to work with Jim Hughes who is the owner of Mailbox Xpress.  He responded quickly with a phone call to an email that I had sent him.  My mail box pole had rotted away and fallen over so I did not have a mail box.  A neighbor said that if I bought all the materials he would install it for me so I watched a UTube video on mailbox installation and headed to Loews to purchase all that I needed.  After stops at Loews, Home Depot and a local hardware store it was evident that I was not going to find the quality or even the materials that I was looking for so I decided to search Angie's List for mail box repair.  They made it difficult to find Jim's company but I am glad that I looked a little deeper.  Jim did an excellent job.  He took the time to answer my questions, offer suggestions and install just what I needed.  Due to the fact that I had no mailbox he made my job a priority and came the very next day. He even came back the following day to install numbers on the pole.  The finished product is wonderful and has a lot of curb appeal along with functionality.  I am very pleased and recommend Jim to anyone needing a mailbox. I wish Angie's List would unblock his listing.  He takes pride in his work and really goes the extra mile to please his customers.
