"We had insulation added between our floor joists. Matt and Bruce were professional. They arrived on time, worked quickly and explained the work. They covered all items in the basement with plastic to prevent insulation from getting on it. They discovered that two of the floor joists were 24", thus they needed wider insulation. They returned to the shop to get the insulation and completed the job. Upon completion, they vacuumed the area and cleaned debris. While some would not think looking up at insulation looks good, I , on the other hand believe it looks wonderful. It is quiet and the central air is even coming on less (it's been in the 90s!). Seth, the salesman, responded promptly to my inquiry, took time with me during his visit, was honest about his uncertainty about whether the entire floor could be insulated but exhibited a can-do attitude, was reasonable about money, wrote a fair contract, and was open to some negotiation of its terms. Rodney, the lead of the work crew, is a very personable fellow, with the same can-do attitude, who figured out a solution to the problem of partial inaccessibility. He and his crew did a bang-up job, including cleanup of messy old batten from the rocky ground. This is a great company."

"They were professional and on time. They cared about our house and put down tarps and stuff to walk on. They did an excellent job on the installation and were helpful in explaining how the system worked. They went over all the components that they installed. From what I can tell, they did a neat job. They had to break a window to vent to the outside. They didn't clean up the broken glass on the outside of the house, but it was probably just an oversight."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
