"I contacted S & J home repair to come and give me an estimate for a bedroom that had a sagging floor, utility room floor that was sagging and had been fixed 3 times by different repairmen and a entrance to a bedroom was sagging. I contacted on Friday October 17th 2025 and met their Representative McKenzie Sheffield that following Monday morning. I showed her the damaged areas and she took the time to listen at what I wanted. None of this was covered by insurance but the estimate was several thousand cheaper than what I expected. I wasn?t sure what colored I wanted and she picked a beautiful color. The next day she sent her workers and most of the time you didn?t know they were in the house. These men work fast, quiet and quick. The flooring makes the rooms look brand new.If you?re in need of home repairs and you?re looking for a Home Repair Business that not trying overcharge you, choose S & J Home Repair. "Thomas has done several projects for me. He built my front porch where he tore out the old porch and rebuilt it with railings and stairs. I recently had him replace some doors on my pack-house (shed), where he did some re-framing around the doors where it was rotten. He replaced some exterior siding, has done trim work, and built a pantry for me. He did an amazing job, it looked it was always here! He is very meticulous about his work, very prompt, personable and on-time. Very good value for money!"

"Doug came out and surveyed job and gave us a fair price and suggestions on stain type, Behr Deck Over, to be used afterwards. After checking around we decided to go with his business on the stripping. His crew arrived on time and spent the day getting the deck pressure washed and stripped for staining. The crew did a good job. I ended up staining myself to save a little money. I would these guys again."

"Initial quote was great, but it took 7 return trips to get the job completed. The biggest issue was the man quoting it and the people doing the work don't seem to communicate. I had to keep calling them back and asking them to complete the job. They did not communicate well as to when they would do the work. Twice I took a day off work with the understanding they would finish the job. Once they showed up and did 20 min of work and said they had to go to the shop and would be back the next day. The other I called and asked where they were and they said they couldn't make it and would be out the next day. In the end, the work is good, but you have to stay on top of them to get the work completed."

"Victor showed up as scheduled and cleaned the tile and grout in the kitchen and nook area as requested. It looks like new, my wife was VERY pleased with the results. You don't realize how dirty your tiles are until you see them after they've been cleaned. We opted to apply the sealant ourselves, but in hindsight should've just paid Victor to do it. My aching back. :) We would definitely use Guaranteed Services again."

"Work for poison ivy was very punctual, and he met me on the weekend, since that is the only time I'm in the mountains. He was accommodating for my schedule, and the poison ivy was no longer a problem. It was getting on my dogs, and then onto me, so I knew the problem was solved when it stopped getting on me. There was a delay in getting the deck built just because he was backed up with work over the summer, but he told me that right up front. He then contacted me when he had time coming available, and the work was done exactly when he said it would be, and right on budget."
