"This is the second time I use Vaillancourt Roofing, and they have always been exceptionally professional. Brad Entrekin, the salesperson I have always dealt with is wonderful: knowledgeable, patient, punctual. So have been the team that does the work. In this specific case, Nick and Jay did the installation of the gutters. Their work is impeccable. They are very respectful yet friendly. If I was doing gutters I would do all possible to get the Nick and Jay tea However, in order to reach them you would have to go through the scheduler. I understand that the schedule is necessary in order to make the best use of the resources possible however, that has to be tempered with the needs of the client. Case on point, day before the installation date I was informed that the installation had been cancelled "because one of the installers was sick" and the work was rescheduled for 12 days later. I spoke to the scheduler and he had no interest in whether I would be available, convenience or any other consideration of what the effect of the change could have on MY schedule. I just had to understand that people get sick. That is - an administrative problem of the company was suddenly on my shoulders. This gentleman is extremely rigid and unsympathetic. Chances are that the job could not be done before but a gentler approach with the client will take him a long way. In addition, his attitude really erodes the exceptional work of the field salespeople. It is then left on the shoulders of the installers, to fix with the client what the installer undid. Once again, Vaillancourt has, in my estimation, first class materials to offer, a splendid salesperson in Brad, and an impeccable installation team with Nick and Jay. So, go for it. More likely than not, you will not have to deal with the scheduler."

The date proposed was mid October but the actual work was much sooner (low slope roof) and completed in several hours The roof has now gone through several seasons without issue. "Altitude did a fantastic job. We had specified putting ice and water barrier on the entire roof and they did great with that. We had asked for "dutch weave" pattern, with random spacing of an occasional extra shake in a course. They did beautifully on that. Altitude uses yellow Alaskan cedar shakes, which we were unfamiliar with, but they are excellent and it's clear the roof will last for a long long time. They worked very long and productive days, always cleaning up well each evening. They even worked 6 hours the Saturday it was nearly 100 degrees! We could not be happier with the job they did and would highly recommend them."

"Obtained an estimate for a re-roof from Action and the level of detail was far above all other contractors I spoke with. Every possible aspect was clearly detailed in the spec leaving no room for hidden charges. The spec also included two variations to the approach as we spoke about , something dropped by other contractors. David also included CAD diagrams of how the tapered insulation would be applied which really helped me understand the process better David was quick in providing the estimate and responding to emails and addressed my repeated questions. The pricing was competitive with other estimates i received, but not overly aggressive I ultimately was unable to go with Action roofing due to scheduling conflicts (mine, not Action roofing) but would consider them in the future due to their professionalism and attention to detail"

"Everything was great except cleanup. There was a misunderstanding about which shingles we wanted, but Willard made good on it. They even removed a small area where they had installed the wrong shingles and replaced them with the right shingles, all at no extra charge. The new roof looks great. The only problem was cleanup. We found a large number of nails in our yard and on our driveway, and a lot of pieces of plastic lying around."

He arrived as promised and provided a very thorough and fair estimate for the work requested, which was re-roofing the house, a garage, an addition and a shed, adding a 27' section of gutter to my garage and replacing two skylights in my addition. He was professional and personable, as well as very knowledgeable. The estimate he provided was complete and fair. In addition, he provided a list of homes he had roofed (with shingle colors) so that I could get a good idea of the color in actual lighting conditions. Ramon came to survey the leaky roof the day that I called. He explained what needed to be done and gave me what I felt was a very reasonable written estimate within a day or two. He explained that they might find more damage once work commenced and it would cost more to repair. The crew started the work the day before Thanksgiving and worked throughout the holiday weekend to remove and replace four layers or shingles on my 1910 colonial.
