"Archie and carol were amazing! They were sweet, on time, professional and were extremely easy to have as our cupboard restyle experts. "It went great. Scott's team is very professional, prompt, thorough and helpful. Our designer was Rachel, and she was a tremendous help in selecting everything and offering suggestions. We would've been lost without her! The project manager, Tony, was excellent in keeping things on schedule and going the extra distance to make the end result fantastic. He is an excellent craftsman and very proud of his work, and it shows. Tony made sure everything was cleaned up thoroughly before leaving, even the garage! We really appreciated that there was no unsightly dumpster left in our drive for weeks, like other contractors do. I believe the dumpster was filled and removed within a day or two. Our tile guy was Greg, and he also did a great job. He even explained why he was lying the tile the way he was, and had no problem in answering any questions we had. The company owner, Scott, came by once a week to check on things, and that made us feel like he truly valued our business. He also made some suggestions that greatly improved the functionality of our kitchen, and we knew we were in good hands. Also, although this was a major renovation, we stayed in the house, and Scott's team respected that and worked with us, so it was no big deal. They moved our refrigerator into the dining room and we set up our kitchen there. We have no regrets and are loving our new, beautiful, and functional kitchen! <br />"

"They did an excellent job of getting my cabinets fitted with the pull-out shelves in a few hours and they work great. Since this was a custom order, they made sure to keep me up-to-date on the shipping status. The shelves were installed within a couple of days of their arrival. I would certainly use them again for other jobs. <br />"

"This is just one of the projects that they have done for me. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this company. The jobs that they have done: <br /> <p>Remodeled bathroom<br /> Remodel Kitchen<br /> Redo deck<br /> Replace entry door</p> My experience with Jason is that he is the kind of person that you can give the key to your house and know that he will safeguard your home. He treats it like his own. Extremely trustworthy and dependable. He is a craftsman. When his jobs are finished you can see and feel the quality built in. <br /> He has wonderful design ideas. He helped me design the remodel of the kitchen. By having him build custom cabinetry, I actually saved money and had higher quality than using factory cabinets. <br /> He can also act as a general contractor. He was excellent at scheduling and overseeing plumbers and electricians. <br /> I would highly recommend him to anyone that need work on their house. Quality, dependability, and caring go into every job that I have been involved in with him."

"They were great to work with and very professional. They were careful to move and/or cover anything that might be in the spray area, and they cleaned up well after themselves when they were done. My countertops look great, and it was so much cheaper than replacing them!"

"<p>Bill the owner came and gave us an estimate and invited us to come to his show room and shop</p> <p>to see what they did and how they refinished the doors and drawers. </p> <p>We got to see the process of stripping the old finish off and applying the new in his shop.</p> <p>In our home, they took off the doors and drawers and took them to the shop. Then they took and taped</p> <p>off all the cabinet frame work and sealed off the kitchen with plastic before sanding down the frame work</p> <p>and refinishing the frame work here in the kitchen. The whole process only took 8 or 9 days.</p> <p>We were pleased with Bill's response to any of our concerns, and we were pleased with the work they did.</p> <br />"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Arlington, NE

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
