"Ernie (owner) arrived with a helper on time. He quickly understood the scope of the work that was to be done, and left his helper to perform the task. I had some outlets added and one removed and a light switch moved. The total time spent at my house was at least 2 1/2 hours but they didn't charge me for the extra time spent (much appreciated). My only negative experience was that the light switched they moved didn't work properly once moved. He said it was due to old parts (the switch itself). But he didn't have any switches on him, so it would require going to the hardware store to buy one which would end up taking another hour thus costing me the regular rate for an hour. Since my husband is handy, he ended up installing the new switch himself the next day. It just seems to me that an electrician would have switches on hand. It seems like a common part to me - but maybe it's not. Its just hard for me to pay an electricians rate for travel time to and from the hardware store.
That being said, I am using them again on another project in my living room this week. Ernie is easy to work with and can take electrical terms and explain it to the layperson. He is also respectful to women - which I have not always found when working with some men.

"The tech installed a new alarm system which is a more up to date system compared to my old . He also removed my old system. He also answered many questions and the taught me how to use the system - including how to use it remotely.

He worked efficiently to get the DSC security system (installed by prior owner) up and running. The monthly service fee is very economical relative to other security companies. The system is now working fine. The technician advised us of the need to get an alarm permit from the City of Austin, which we appreciated. Cost was for transmitter ($89) plus a couple of months of service pre-paid."

"With the $100 girft card, they entire system was less than $100 for many motion detectors, and window alarms. The monitoring is more than other companies, but when you factor in the cost of the equipment, it was cheaper. They are the best customer service people I have ever used. They are quick to respond, the system is so easy to use. You can arm using an app if you forgot to arm before you left. Have key chain you can use as well to arm or disarm. Would highly recommend this company."
