"Mike and his team did a wonderful job on multiple things. They hung a beautiful, very heavy, pot rack in my kitchen. They added some shelves in my kitchen as well as fixed some plumbing and recaulked/remounted a very loose kitchen sink. They dug out all the old caulk around my windows, repaired them and repainted. He fixed all rotting wood around outside of house and up around the chimney and repainted. Mike is great at plumbing, electrical, woodwork, and can build fences as well. "Project: Interior paint and stain. Henry did some painting, cabinet repair, and cabinet staining for me. He was always punctual, and there every day. The project took 5 days. I especially loved the stain on the cabinets. Toward the end of the project my husband got sick and head to go into hospital. While I was with my husband, Henry finished the project. I was told when I came back, there was a surprise for me. Henry had painted a room I had planned to paint myself. This was a welcome surprise! All who were going to help me with this room were senior citizens, just like me. This was just wonderful, and all our joints thank him! I would highly recommend Henry as he seems to be knowledgeable about everything. His wife Christy keeps things running smoothly from the business end, and always lets you know where the project is at time wise."

"Over the past several years I’ve had several issues in my house all involving water damage. One year I had an outside spigot freeze. A plumber had to cut out a large piece of drywall in the corner of the house in order to get access. I decided to just place the wallboard loose where it was in order to make sure everything was fixed. That part of the room is covered with a large plant so it was one of those things I never got back to. Then another year the water heater broke which caused large sections of the garage wallboard, insulation and baseboards to be removed. Again, I didn’t get around to repairing. Out of sight, out of mind. Then I had a small leak in one of the bathrooms that I couldn’t locate. Then a shower that was renovated years ago created hidden water damage that needed to be addressed. I calculated that I would need a plumber, a wall repair person and a tile removal and repair expert. After doing some background work and a recommendation from Angi, I found Handyman Connection who had an office near Keller. So I called them. Ian, the owner came out and looked at everything and gave me a written estimate the next day. The only thing in question was the bathroom shower that would need some further evaluation. Soon a repairman came out with the owner and work began. Most of the work was quickly taken care of. The shower was another issue. Some work I had done to replace the shower pan, glass enclosure and have new tile installed was botched. This became an extensive redo. Fortunately my insurance covered a large portion of the excavation that needed to be done. Ian and his office manager were very helpful in providing additional information required by my insurance company. Needless to say everything came out as I hoped. We found that the same tile was available which saved some money. I recommend Handyman Connection, Ian Charters and his staff if you need work done. Ian is very diligent and skilled at determining problems and the workmen he hired were neat, cleaned up every night and did a good job protecting the area where they were working. They were also highly skilled, kept me updated along the way and were customer oriented."

"Great work. Did more than expected. Not only did they provide weatherstripping for my doors they also balanced the doors as well as repaired door locks and alignment. They removed the doors shaved them to make sure they fit correctly before reinstalling them. Tightened the doors knobs so they don’t wiggle and even made sure the deadbolt bed was deep enough so the lock would fully engage. They completely sealed each crack so no light or air would pass through them. They went way beyond what we expected for weatherproofing the doors."
