"Although I've used Adam's services in the past (I love this guy), this particular purchase was one of Angie's Big Deals - 2 hours of handy man services for the price mentioned above. My powder room is 5x5 and what was supposed to be a simple remove and re-seat toilet project evolved into a major mold issue. After receiving estimates which were out of my budget, i thought i'd put my DIY skills to work. I stripped the bathroom, removed drywall from the lower portion of the wall about 3 feet up; removed tile from the immediate area and called the inspectors - no black mold, everything was clean. high project, My neighbor replaced the flange in the floor and I removed the remaining tile and cleaned the floor down to the cement. I ordered new 'snap-lock' tiles and started to tile the floor, cutting the pieces was not in my skill-set. ENTER Angie's List Big Deal and Adam's Contracting offering 2 hours of HandyMan Service! Yea me! I purchased the deal and briefly stated what I wanted done. I received an email response almost immediately and scheduled the work! I went out and purchased the Drywall and had it cut into 5' pieces to make it easier to manage. On the day promised, there was a traffic issue and Adam contacted me to let me know that since it wasn't my issue, he would add an additional 1/2 hour. The worker came pleased that the pieces were manageable and started right in to work. I told him he could just cut the tile, I'd install it if he ran out of time and not to worry about the grout (because of the drywall install). He cut the tile and installed it in little time. Then, he cut and installed the drywall in the major areas and repaired a spot in the ceiling that was unsightly but not an issue and and a weak area that would be covered by the baseboard. When he finished HE reminded me that I had an extra 30 minutes! He said that it would take longer to allow the mud to dry on the wall so he wouldn't be able to sand it. I was NOT concerned - so he waited a little while and applied another coat of mud to the repaired areas. He cleaned up EVERYTHING and took the trash with him. BEAUTIFUL JOB - I took pics! I was able to sand the wall (he suggested two days later) and paint - just beautiful! Grouting the floor was easy and it looks GREAT!  I love this guy! I'll be watching for you Adam! THANKS! <br />"
