"The work I asked JP General Construction to undertake was the demolition of a 40 year old concrete in-ground swimming pool that was far past its prime. I couldn't be more pleased with the job done by JP General Construction. When I first contacted the owner, Jaime Peredo, he made time to do a site visit the same day in spite of other projects in progress. I found him and his staff to be flexible, straight forward in describing the details of the work to be done, the techniques and equipment involved and the probable duration of the project. The work ethic and attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for., especially on the part of his employee Carlos who was tireless in some very difficult work breaking up the concrete and rebar with a jackhammer. Initially I realized that this was probably not too common a job, so with due diligence I got several proposals for the work, including one from JP General Construction. I had previously been acquainted with their pool demolition work by a near neighbor who also had a pool demolition done by JP General Construction some years ago. Steve Norfolk (owner) installed a new sump pump and backup battery in February 2013. We have not had a moment's trouble in three years. We recently had a power outage and things continued to work well. Since it was the first time we had to rely on the backup battery, I wasn't familiar with the change in pumping sounds, etc and worried that all was not well. I called, spoke with Mary and requested if they could come back out and check my system. Steve came out to the house, took a careful look at everything, explained (again) what to expect and what to look for in the future (i.e. - when the battery was showing signs of needing to be replaced.) He was extremely patient and thorough, and did not charge me for his time!

"Marcos and his crew did an EXCELLENT job repairing our basement after we had water damage to the floor/walls. They installed new insulation, repaired the drywall, painted the entire basement, and installed a tile floor. They also repaired a leaky shower in the basement bathroom. Marcos is the nicest, most accommodating (he came by at 6pm for the initial estimate to accommodate my work schedule) and most honest contractor I've ever dealt with and he and his crew worked very hard and very fast. They showed up on time every day and worked long hours. My basement looks better now than it did before it was flooded! I totally recommend them and will 100% use MP Home Repair in the future."

"I have a 28 year old asphalt driveway that needed to be resurfaced. He was prompt providing a quote at a fair price compared to three others. His crew did one day of prep work consisting of digging out crumbled/cracked areas and edging the entire 300' driveway. The next day they applied 2" of asphalt and did a perfect job with great attention to detail. Then they cleaned up the whole area and it looks great.
