After reading several reviews, I contacted Renaissance Floor to discussed the project. Basir came to my home with various floor samples, took measurements, and provided an estimate with cost effective suggestions and a detailed project timeline schedule. As outlined in the project timeline schedule, materials were delivered and the project was completed in a timely manner. I cannot say enough great things about the work crew that worked on my project. The assigned work crew was extremely professional, possessed incredible technical knowledge and delivered superior quality work. They arrived and left as scheduled daily and made sure all work areas were cleaned and tools neatly stored. In addition, I was extremely impressed with the efficiency of the crew and their ability to reassembled our furniture from every room to the exact location without our assistance. Overall, Renaissance Floor and Carpet is a great company. They provide quality work at competitive prices and their customer service is outstanding, specifically from Basir and Amir the two managers I had the pleasure of working with. They were patient and professional, gave us a competitive price, had a ton of wood flooring options to choose from, and installed beautiful oak and walnut floors in several rooms of our new house. I recommend going into their store to look at the selection rather than just browsing online, because they have more samples there and it's easier to see the true color of the wood in person. District Floors Depot was also flexible when there was an unforeseen power outage at our residence, and was able to reschedule us and complete the work quickly in time for our moving date. Finally, they did a really good job cleaning up and the place was gleaming and spotless after they were done. I highly recommend them!"

"Prospect Hardwood Flooring just completed installing 3/4 inch Oak wood floors at my house. The crew had to move heavy furniture, remove the rugs and padding, and remove tack strips. They carefully listened for areas where the subfloor squeaked when stepped on, then screwed those areas to stop the floor from squeaking. The installation from start to finish was flawless from my perspective. All joints are tight. Of particular note is the cove molding. The Miter joints are perfect, and I can't tell where the nails were placed. Cleanup was immaculate too. I've seen the negative reviews here, and I respect the opinions of the people who posted them. Clearly something happened when their jobs were done. When Mike came to my house to give me an estimate, I grilled him on those negative posts. I wanted to hear what he had to say. As one would imagine, there are always two sides to every story. If you are considering hardwood floors, you really need to get an estimate from Mike, and discuss any concerns you have. I'm so glad I did. The floors look amazing."

"Dan and his brothers are extremely professional and have outstanding work ethics. Not only did they perform the work contracted, but the work was completed on time. The attention to detail (installed molding where none had previously existed, supplied numerous samples for review, swept the basement floor of debris caused by the first floor installation, installed felt pads under all furniture that touched the new flooring and dusted the furniture as it was being replaced into the original positon, etc.) was unbelievable! My wife and I felt very comfortable leaving our home while they were performing the work."

"Brian from Torres flooring reached out to me immediately after I submitted my request, and quickly gave me a quote and did the repair that day! We had a small section of our vinyl floor cut out by our previous owners to install a wooden railing. We removed the railing and needed the flooring patched with some of the flooring we had stored away. I contacted so many floor companies who said the job was 'too risky' and declined the job, or told us we needed to replace the entire floor (for like $5k). Brian was super friendly and said he could do the job no problem, understood what we needed done, and did a great job! From day one to completion of the project, Mr. Zavala demonstrated a “spirit of excellence” in performing every facet of the project with attention to details; integrity, which is a rare commodity in the contractor industry and a genuine desire to insure project met both mine and his high expectations. Appreciated meticulous daily clean up until project completion. Zavala Construction (Wulian) now rests at the top of the list for my TWO preferred “go to” contractors."

"We had some water damage recently and called Aaron because he had done such an outstanding job when we remodeled the hardwood on all the four floors in our townhouse a year ago. Aaron was immediately responsive and quickly gave us a fair quote. While part of the job this time was relatively straightforward (which he did quickly and efficiently, blending the finish seamlessly with the undamaged flooring), part of the job entailed replacing an unusual type of wood that is not now generally available. Aaron went the extra mile, calling in whatever chits he had to find us a wood that, in the end, was actually better than the original. His team did a fantastic job pulling up the old, damaged floor (which was glued down), leveling the underfloor and installing the new floor. Could not be happier with the attention we were given and the workmanship of the crew."

"Bought a home that needed top to bottom renovations, including almost 2000 sq ft of new hardwood, another 2000 of old hardwood floors/steps/banisters refinished, another 2000 of luxury vinyl installed, and carpet steps ripped out and replaced with hardwood. Of ALL our MANY contractors (tile, electric, painting, handymen, etc), Masood was the one person who's team showed when he said he would 100% of the time, did a great job the FIRST time (one crew ripped up old carpet and installed all the hardwood in ONE day, and another crew installed the vinyl in ONE day as well - honestly, I didn't think that much could be done in so short a time). He provided great pricing and wonderful service, advising me which flooring would be more durable and ordering in a flooring I liked best rather than pushing me into something easier to get. Masood is very easy to work with and made sure everything was done well. We had used him at a previous house and been happy there as well, but the new flooring in this house made a huge difference.
