"BEWARE of this company!!! Everything started out great, the staff was initially incredibly responsive and came out for an estimate. Their estimate was reasonable and competitive to a 2nd bid I had received, and I was offered a $500 discount and a commitment that the work would be done in 1.5 days if I signed the contract in 24 hours. I went ahead and signed the estimate. That is when the problems started.... The project manager (Moses) was completely non-responsive as to when the work would be completed. They were provided access to my home, yet never contacted me to let me know when they would arrive or when work would be completed. 3 weeks later, I still did not have a response on work completion and Moses stopped answering my messages and would not answer my calls. Finally, after calling the office (which is always closed and has an outdated voicemail response that hasn't been updated since Oct. 3rd) , I received a call from the technician. He tells me that work is complete, and that he'll be doing a walk through in a few days. Today, he calls to tell me he is there , but he doesn't know where the main gas line is and he can't figure out how to get gas to the fireplace. Ok, interesting... I call my gas company because we have working hot water and have been paying our gas bill and they tell me gas is entering the home. I tell this to technician, who tells me, well, that's too bad, they don't know what the problem is and that is my problem to solve, the work is complete on their end. How is work complete, if you have hooked up a gas fireplace , but can't figure out how to get gas to it? Isn't this something you would confirm BEFORE doing work? I can't get in touch with anyone in charge at the office and I am honestly shocked that anyone could have had a positive experience with this company."

"They did an excellent job from the quote to the finished work. I couldn't be home for either the initial inspection/quote or the actual work. This was not a problem as they handled all my questions and provided both the quote and invoice via Angie's chat on this site. The actual work, after a couple days for the mortar to dry, is totally indistinguishable from the 25 year old adjacent bricks and mortar. The color and style matching of the 4 replacement bricks was perfect. Without knowledge of what it looked like before, there is nothing to tell you that anything was ever done to the brick facade. They even replaced a section of caulking where the replaced bricks met the wood frame. As with everything else the color matching of the caulking was perfect. The cleanup was excellent, they left nothing for me to do."

"Repair went extremely well. I was afraid I might have to pay for a new compressor. The tech looked at the compressor, the wiring on the thermostat, and then teh wiring in the furnace. He discovered that one of the wires was removed (as a result of a recent flood in the basement). He fixed the wiring, cleaned out the drainpipe, and installed a new filter."

"Had a chimney cleaning and inspection in early Oct. Both Sol and his assistant Margaret were friendly and professional. Sol is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, and I felt very comfortable with going ahead to have his company install a chimney liner. Greg and Gary came about 10 days later to do the installation, and were also friendly, professional and respectful of my home. They politely answered more questions and cleaned up the area better than it was before."

"We hired J L Contractor Services to put a new roof on our garage, including new gutters/downspouts, and repair a section of aluminum facia on the house. Jack came out and gave us a fair bid for the work. His crew arrived when he said they would, promptly got started, were polite/no excessive noise above what's expected with doing the work, and left the premises swept and free of debris. Overall they did a great job. They had to replace several sections of plywood and the wood replacement work inside the garage, exterior shingle and gutter work, and facia repair all look great. I think we have the best looking garage roof on the block! I would definitely use this company again."

"Bob showed up right on time and performed a Chimney Sweep. We had issues with smoke coming in the house in which he determined the issue and offered an inexpensive repair. In addition,we had him fully convert to a gas fireplace with the existing fake logs we had. He set everything up really nice and painted the interior walls and it looks great. The work was fast and very reasonable. Highly reccomend."

"Had a leak in my roof by the chimney. Roof is 8 years old. The previous roofing company that installed the roof did not flash the chimney, and this was the cause of the leak. Gustafson Roofing came promptly to my house, identified the problem, offered me a written estimate the next day, and came three days later with a 5 man roofing crew and all of the correct materials to reroof a section of the roof, flash the chimney, and end the leak. They did very professional work, completed the job, and cleaned the site. The price was the same as the estmate. Would use them for a new roof in the future when that day arrives!"

"I bought a new patio table from NW Metalcrafters to replace an older one that was no longer usable. The salesperson Brian was very helpful with the sale, letting me take home color samples to match the new table's finish with my old chairs that I had planned to keep. Several days after the table was delivered, I noticed that one of the legs was bent at a welding joint. I sent photos to NW Metalcrafters and they agreed right away to get a new table from the manufacturer as part of the warranty. Andrew was helpful in arranging and scheduling pickup of the old table and the delivery of the new table."
