"Adrian Burns and his crew removed 7 huge hemlocks that were around a hundred years old around our house.This was a difficult task because of their size and location to the house. They were as careful as they could be around the courtyard which goes around the side of the house. We lost a few hosta's and an old split rail fence would needed to be replaced anyway. This was to be expected from the start. I was surprised that there wasn't more damage to the existing shrubbery, but it appears that everything will survive. <br /> Watching them hoist such huge chunks of a tree around the house was amazing. I have a new found respect for men that do this type of work. Just knowing how to work off one tree to the next and knowing how to make it fall where you want it too, is a great skill. <br /> Burns Tree Service was the right choice for this job. Adrian and the guys were great to work with. <br /> They had the equipment to load the huge logs on to a truck and on the last day the guys worked in the sweltering heat and humidity to clean up all the debris and there was a lot of it.  <br /> If I had this to do over again, I would have waited till the fall when everything was ready to die back for the winter. But the job that I have put off for years now, is finished. I had to resow the grass in the front yard and buy a few new trees but all in all, I was very pleased. ".enTransformed my property from a mess to pristine.  I was unable to do my Autumn leaf removal this year due to a recent surgery.  Mr. Hinson and his crew came out and removed all of the leaves, branches, and yard debris (which they hauled off), that had accumulated over the last two months and then mowed the yard. And when I say all, I mean ALL.  I have extensive gardens and shrubbery, and they went deep and were very thorough.  This is the best my property has looked in the winter since I have lived here.  And if the price may seem a bit steep, trust me, it was worth every penny.  The place was a jungle.  It would have taken me days to do the same amount of work his crew (four men) accomplished in about 4 hours.  Mr. Hinson also gave me a very reasonable estimate to regravel my driveway and parking area and I have hired him to do this work in January.  He is courteous, accurately explains what he will do, and he returns calls in a timely fashion, the latter being a pet peeve of mine, so I'm really pleased with the experience from start to finish <br />"

"It went very well, considering the cold weather and occasional snow.  He gladly agreed to save the old stones, which we have gradually used for other projects around the yard and even sold some to a neighbor.  He is a expert with the backhoe and went to extra effort to save a beautiful Japanese maple tree.  And at the end, he cleaned up the area fully.  The proof that his workmanship is excellent is that the wall has been perfectly strong and stable throughout this year (2013) considering all of the heavy rainfall that we have had. <br />"
