"While the work, time to complete, and price were acceptable, there was some miscommunication regarding what work was to be performed. My original request over the phone was for a new flat and pitched roof. Regarding the flat roof, the quote I received specifically says "install all new GAF Torch Down." Instead, I found only patching and coating was being performed. Andrew informed me I did not interpret the quote correctly, but assured a 10 year warranty on the patches and coating. Also, a Verizon line was dislocated from the dwelling during the job. There was no response after I reached out to Andrew to reattach. On my own time I have to fix this. 5 star for work quality (price, time, craftsmanship), 3 star for customer service (miscommunication on new/patched flat roof, no response to fix Verizon line), 4.5 star for value (I thought the price was for a whole new flat roof, not a patch and coat)."

"What a wonderful, caring company to work with! After having a nightmare of a contractor leave us with a horrible Cambria counter top, we researched and found Marble and Granite Connection. I'm so glad that we did! From the moment we walked in, we were treated with respect and care. We explained our situation and Andre made sure that we were communicated with every step of the way as we replaced the nightmare. I L O V E communication - I can work with anything that comes up if I'm informed and the company works with me. Marble and Granite alerted me that during their checks, they found that two slabs from Cambria didn't look exactly the same. Could I please come over and confirm their opinion. I could only come over at 7am before work and the owner happily met me that early to make sure we get it right. I loved the concern! Yep, the second slab was not going to match the first. That's when Marble and Granite went to bat for me. They fought with Cambria to make sure that I received a free replacement slab that matched the good slab. Took some time to get the new slab but when it arrived, I again was invited down to make sure I was happy with the replacement. Such wonderful service! It was a match and they proceeded to fabricate. I couldn't be home to install when they would be ready and the next weekend would be the Labor Day weekend. Didn't matter to Andre and Marble and Granite. They just wanted to make sure that I was happy with their work and the results! So here I sit, looking at my new counter top. The guys who removed the old and installed the new were professional, funny, on time and called before they left for my house and couldn't have been nicer to work with. No fuss, no muss and everything done to perfection. Cleanup was meticulous with a double check to make sure nothing was left behind. I highly recommend anyone needing marble, granite or quartz fabrication/installation/design to give Marble and Granite Connection a try. You will not be sorry you did! "As always, we searched for a provider on Angie's List--they never let us down.  A foot of snow on a flat roof had caused water to seep behind the wall of an outside room.  Less than half an hour after I called Mr. Gomez's company, he returned the call and promised to come in an hour or so.  He arrived promptly with two additional men, removed the snow from the roof, and made interim repairs.  If we decide to have him replace the roof, today's payment will be applied to the cost.  He patiently answered our questions and explained everything, and was pleasant and professional.  He even took off his shoes upon entering the house!"

Shortly after returning to his office he called back to inform us that he would lower the price because he found that he had a dumpster available for the rubble. As it was a relatively small project he brought an additional worker. Before starting the demolition they searched along the perimeter of the concrete for the presence of lines or pipes. After ascertaining that it was clear they proceeded to cut the concrete into smaller blocks in a professional and efficient manner. No cracks were created in the concrete that remained . They cleared the area of all debris and left it looking nice and clean. They even graciously consented to remove some broken stepping stones that were in the backyard. We were very impressed with their workmanship and the cleanly cut edges of the concrete. Now the landscaper can proceed to putting in sod as there was no appreciable delay because of the quick response. We will have a backyard to be proud of."
