"08-07-2017 - May I state right up front: Menard's Lawn and Landscape is a rare company in today's society. I attempted to get someone last year from Angie's List and another web site that offers many services. Absolutely no luck. I could not believe the un-professionalism, lack of interest, no shows, no calls returned, rudeness, disrespect, etc. One actually canceled me out because I had asked for a copy of their insurance, and the products they were using, since I am an environmentally friendly person. Another told me he would be there the next morning to do the work, but never showed up. I finally found a family member who did the work for me. He has since moved so I was back at the mercy of the local businesses in this field again this year. I repeatedly encountered the same scenario as last year. I scheduled one that had high ratings, but I could not believe his work. He put sod down over old mulch, weeds, rocks and the sod does not match up with the rest of the yard, it is much higher leaving an uneven yard. Put mulch over the weeds, did not pull them and on and on - did not finish the agreed upon list. I was quite ill at that time, and unable to go out to check it until the next day. To say I have been disillusioned is an understatement. 1. Then I called Ted Menard, and I had a glimmer of hope. He arrived on time to give me an estimate, which was reasonable. He and his associate, Luis, arrived to do the work, as promised, on time, and worked from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I can't believe all that they did - weeding, planting, mulching, bagging leaves, & just cleaning up. They made it look like a new yard. II asked for a couple of additional things to be done and Ted took care of them immediately. Just very eager to please. Just very professional. Just very hard workers. Just plain good people. I have only found one other company that I feel so strongly about as I do Menard's at this point. If anyone needs any driveway work done, they should look at Premier Paver Restoration in New Port Richey. I use this name because I had thought for the past two years that Premier Paver could not be beat when it comes to customer service, as they are above excellent. But, Menard's is in the game now and close to the level of Premier. Sorry, but Premier does not need to worry, they are like family. I don’t plan to see anyone supersede Premier Paver Restoration. They still call to check on me occasionally. Truly, an above and beyond company applies to Premier.. I highly recommend Menard's. I am beyond impressed with this business, and I have already scheduled more projects with this fantastic company. "Matt's response was swift. He came and assessed the work that needed to be done and gave what we found to be a fair estimate. Shortly after returning to his office he called back to inform us that he would lower the price because he found that he had a dumpster available for the rubble. As it was a relatively small project he brought an additional worker. Before starting the demolition they searched along the perimeter of the concrete for the presence of lines or pipes. After ascertaining that it was clear they proceeded to cut the concrete into smaller blocks in a professional and efficient manner. No cracks were created in the concrete that remained . They cleared the area of all debris and left it looking nice and clean. They even graciously consented to remove some broken stepping stones that were in the backyard. We were very impressed with their workmanship and the cleanly cut edges of the concrete. Now the landscaper can proceed to putting in sod as there was no appreciable delay because of the quick response. We will have a backyard to be proud of."

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"
