Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. "I would give the subcontractor who built and completed my deck an "A". The subcontractor and his team arrived each day promptly to the job each day.  If they had any feedback, they will leave a note.  They had ensured that the installed deck had completed the county inspection.   The subcontractor who had built the small patio, I would give him a B-.  There were some quality issues.
  Now, for the Powerhouse Remodeling Company, I would give them a "C-".  They were very attentive when they were consulting about the deck.  Once the financing agreement was approved and signed, this was the last time I heard from them.  I thought I would hear from the company owner to ensure I was happy with his company.  Unfortunately, no response from this company.
