"Angel and his crew completely re-made our entire backyard. What was previously a mud pit was turned into a beautiful paved patio with a stunning fire pit and seating wall, and brand new sodsurrounded by two types of new fences. In addition they trimmed up our large tree to allow light to the new sod. Angel was very responsive via text (my preferred communication method). He provided me with samples, pictures, ideas, etc throughout the process. His crew arrived early every day that weather permitted (before 9am) and they didn’t stop until 5 or 6pm. They always made sure that they had their things put away each night so as to not leave a mess. He was also very flexible with me as we changed the design mid project. I can’t say enough good things about these guys and the work they did. I will continue to use them for any landscaping project and will refer them to all of my friends. A+++"

"This is the second time we have hired Ventura Bros. Landscaping to help us with our mulch beds and unwanted plant removal. They do a great job, and this time they did it even faster than before. Workers showed up a little before 9:00 AM and they were completely finished around 11:00 AM. Our house has an unnecessary amount of mulch beds, and it always requires an entire trailer full to do the job. They even offered to remove some honeysuckle, which we all know is one most annoying and invasive plants you can have on your property. We will continue to hire them for this type of work in the future and can absolutely recommend you do the same!"

"Derek came to the house within a couple of days of my initial call.  He made notes of what we wanted and made suggestions.  We signed the contract and paid 40% up front.  The work was scheduled promptly, although it was delayed about a week because of very rainy weather.  Derek was very communicative via email.  
He brought a crew with him on the day promised, and they accomplished the work in about 3 hours.  They were polite, careful, and neat.  We are very happy with the work. We asked Derek to put us on the list for spring clean-up and mulching.

"Inconsistent mowing schedule.  We'd call Micah when it was over two weeks since they came and our lawn was way overgrown.  He'd tell us he'd get someone out to mow on a specific day and the crew never showed up.  This happened several times, but they'd get to it eventually.  This season, it started off the same way (inconsistent mowing, overgrown lawn).    The two times we did get our lawn services in 2014, the crew left lawn clippings all over our patio and flower beds (they are supposed to blow that off).   We emailed/called him and said if service didn't improve we would cancel.   We received no emails or returned calls, no apology when we actually cancelled the service.  Poor customer service, the only thing that would show up on time was our bill.  We are much happier with our new lawn service.

"Aeration went fine. The men showed up and got to work right away and got it done quickly, I had also asked for a fall fertilization and owner said it was done. I was home during the job but did not SEE them put on any fertilizer. Didn't see any residual granules on the sidewalks, driveway or in the yard. Previous lawn service companies I have used would also place flags in the yard indicating that chemicals had been applied. Didn't see any of them either. Contacted owner and he offered an acceptable alternative of lawn service next year
