"We are so happy with our new deck. We had a great experience with Wood Trades LLC Roofing and Construction from beginning to end. We would definitely hire them again and will be recommending them to friends and family."

"Working with Overstate was the right choice. I had 3 companies coming in and giving me quotes to replace the entire roof , including installing new plywood since it was a cedar shake . Yani walked me through the whole process, we improved the venting which was a good thing and I got a brand new Owens Corning shingle roof . I?ll definitely recommend to friends and neighbours ."

"I had a jug of the recommended product, which Mr. Dexter used to spray the entire roof--not just the bad sections. He expertly corrected a downspout position to direct rain into main gutter. Two gutter covers were replaced with white-painted, seasoned wood, which were cut to the proper shapes. A deck board was fastened securely. Mr. Dexter plans to return to inspect his roof work. If additional roof treatment is needed, there will be no additional cost for me. [I had contacted 2 other roofing companies, which were recommended by Angie's List. One company did not respond. A 2d company gave a $930 estimate, which did NOT include spraying the roof for moss/algae.]"

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"My wife and I have owned several historic homes. Our favorite is the one we live in now, a former carriage house, built in 1865. We believe strongly that one of the primary duties inherent in having such a house is being a good steward--not just taking good care of it, but making sure that the work done to it is of the highest quality. In short, we have very standards; the house deserves nothing less. LOPCO not only lived up to those standards, but exceeded them. Their work ethic, attention to detail, knowledge, experience, and leadership were exceptional. And it was all done on time and on budget. We can honestly say this was the best experience we've ever had with a contractor. We offer LOPCO our strongest possible recommendation, without hesitation."

"Our front stairs needed to be repaired and we had some wood rot that needed to be replaced along the back doors. They did a great job on both projects and the cost was very reasonable."

"MassBay roofing did a phenomenal job with my roof and exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend MassBay Roofing - thank you for your great customer service!"
