"I hired JLF Construction to finish some spackle and paint our nursery. I wish I never did. I had Jose come out to give a quote. He looked everything over and immediately shot of a price way too high for what the scope of work was. I was providing all materials and tools just needed labor. I told him we would think it over and get back to him. From that day on he continued to harass me with phone calls and texts wanting me to hire him. Finally I explained we felt the price was too high and we'd be getting additional quotes. He then negotiated down to what I thought was a fair price and we hired him. He sold me on how he had over 40 years of experience. Showing pictures of work he recently completed that we liked. We set up a day for him to come out and do the work. I was working when he had the availability and my wife was home. She text me saying there were 3 people here total and she didn't think it was going too well. She said she thinks I need to look everything over but he was demanding payment and wouldn't leave. I text Jose and explained I wouldn't agree to pay until I was home to see the work completed. To my amazement when I got home the room looked awful. He had let his 20 year old son who had no experience cut in the paint. Lines weren't straight, paint on my ceiling in some areas and other areas paint didn't even go all the way up the wall and it wasn't a double coat cut in. The white paint under showed through where they cut in. I immediately called Jose expressing my concerns and he started threatening me, insulting me and telling me I want something for nothing. He threatened to come to my house the next day. My wife who is pregnant was afraid so I agreed to just pay him. He then offered to send his son back out but he refused to come fix it himself since he wasn't the one who did the cutting in. I refused. I was so disappointed after seeing all of his great reviews. I wish I never came across his business. We had to pay a professional painter to come out and fix the issues. Luckily they didn't try to change and arm and a leg. If I could tell anyone to look elsewhere when considering these guys I would. Also, just a side note he had his sons wash out the paint in my yard causing my grass to die. I had them on camera the entire time doing it and asked multiple times to please stop since I pay for lawn treatments. This entire experience ended up costing me more than what we budgeted."

"I found Armagh on Angi. I had a ceiling/attic trap door mishap on Friday 11/24. Called today, 11/27 at 9:30 am. Raymie agreed to come out and repair the spring @5:30 pm. Verbal agreement, on time and fixed the spring. Minimal charge. I will definitely be using Armagh Carpentry for future projects."

We worked with Perry who is knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. He is available to communicate at all times and is extremely knowledgeable. In addition, his wife, Meredith, a decorator, was available to offer her expertise. The staff, material and workmanship were of the highest quality. The end product was what we had hoped for as it was bright, inviting and extremely welcoming. Of note is the bathroom as the walk-in shower, the toilet and sink cabinet were of the highest quality. "Project was repairing or replacing small roof on the back of a row home in Lancaster. Roof was over 30 years old. William was willing to quote and start work on it while we were still out of town. Top quality rubber roofing material used. He also put a layer of silicone coating on the larger top roof on the house. The grey dirty picture is the old roof. Particularly good flashing and sealing work against the walls of both houses. Ignore the metal cable, that was for the dog run."

"I had a water leak that damaged my living room ceiling. He came out, cut out the drywall to determine the source of the leak. Then repaired the pipe, replaced the ceiling drywall and painted. He was fast and thorough. Now you can’t tell where the ceiling was damaged. He did a great job. I highly recommend him."
