"I would hire again, want to say that first. But I tend to review throughly and frankly. The project took longer to both get started and to complete than quoted. The start date was apparently complicated by things beyond control, but that wasn’t helpful to my situation. Jason had no problem getting me the brand of shingle I wanted. Clean up was ok and plant protection was ok, perhaps a balance- I am still picking things up, but would rather do that than have more plantings stomped. That is a communication thing, I feel. I called them back for a rotting eave, that they repaired at no additional charge. I appreciated that, but I understood that they would look for and repair any problems they found. I got the impression that they felt it was not really part of the roof, and I understand both opinions. The crew was courteous and friendly, the roof is beautiful and does not leak and I would hire again."

"The work went very well. Erik came recommended to me by a neighbor. Erik's bid was very competitive, and with the recommendation, I'm glad we chose to go with him. I went with Erik's advice on the roofing tiles. For much of the project, we relied on email/text/phone, and Erik was easy to work with. Erik and his crew worked very diligently, and the timing was great -- got the job done before the autumn storm season started. Definitely put my mind at ease as the old roof was pretty beat up. "Errors in the original estimate and following procedures kept raising the cost even when we got bigger and bigger discounts. Rafter work needed to be done and we knew we upfront we may incur extra costs so we gave the go-ahead to fix that--what else were we going to do at that point. The additional work seemed incredibly excessive. When questioned, the salesperson explains there was a set fee per square which included removal of two layers of old shingles, removal, and replacement of sheathing for the entire roof. For the additional rafter work, they were charging the per square rate which we had already paid for...they were charging us for removing and replacing twice. The rafters were exposed and required only the additional rafter work. We were livid. They sent out someone else to negotiate and we still paid more for the extra work than we wanted. I believe the actual work performed was good."

"Steve Wade, the owner, immediately responded to my call for the roof to be replaced on my home. He reviewed the process with me in detail and drew up a concise and fair contract for the extensive area involved in my two-level home.  He had the dumpster delivered and the very next day the crew was on the job.  They were very careful to use all safety equipment and worked quickly to remove the old two layers of shingles.  They placed a liner over the bare roof to protect it from and moisture until the new shingles could be applied. The crew also covered shrubs to ensure that they would not be damaged by falling shingles.  One section of a back addition had lost some shingles two years ago and the wood was starting to rot underneath.  The crew replaced the entire section while making sure that I was aware of this addition to the project.  The shingles that I chose were then very quickly placed on the roof while the crew members were tied off to safety hooks since the roof has an extreme slant.  The project was completed in seven days which was wonderful considering how noisy it was (understandable for this type of project though).  Steve Wade came out the next day to review the work and note any punch list items that needed to be completed before final payment was made.  He was very responsive to get crew members out as soon as possible to complete these items.  This company is very professional, the workers are careful and listen to any concerns from the owner or guidance as to where to store tools during the project.  I have used this company in the past to paint my home and I was very pleased that I chose them for this major roofing project.  My home looks amazing now and Steve made sure it was done correctly and that I was satisfied with the results.  I will definitely continue to use this company for any future home projects that require remodeling, etc.  They are a fast working crew and everyone is professional and leaves a clean area at the end of each day.

"I love my new roof! Jasmin went above and beyond helping me to pick out the right type and color shingles for my house. She personally drove me around the neighborhood and told me what type of shingle and color I was looking at so I could relate to what I was seeing when a shingle was on a roof versus trying to imagine what a small sample on a sample board would look like on a full roof. She even brought over loose shingles for three final types I was trying to decide on and laid them out in blocks on my lawn so I could see how the shingles looked in a large patch. And if that wasn't enough she personally drove with me to a wholesale shingle distributor so I could look at a large supply of shingles. She really understood that it was a big decision for me and I wanted to make sure that I would be happy with the end product. This company offered me the best overall price for my roof job which also included rain gutters and a cricket (which diverts water flow away from the chimney). The crew showed up and helped move things out of my garage so nothing would get broken during the process. They laid down plastic sheeting to collect the debris that would be falling. They cleaned up after the first layer of plywood was laid down."

1) bent existing backdoor awning.  Had to be replaced.

2) layed tarps/plywood on top of flower beds killing flowers underneath.

3) knocked over water bottle in attic making a water stain on bedroom ceiling.

4) left scraps on attic floor.

5)installed roof vents over area that didn't have a hole for the vent.

Note: they did resolve most problems and adjusted price for damages, but the management should have better control over the work performed.  They constantly complained on how much Angie's List was getting from the job!
