Good installers, but concrete dust everywhere and crew's ladders tore up my yard.
Crew does work with ladders instead of pump jacks, so the crew ladders marring the James Harding factory finished caused many punch list items.
Window installers good, but leaves windows clean to siding installer foreman.
Too many punch list items, and too much time spent having to create the list.

"We originally contracted Joe Bishop out of Wichita, KS to install a bathroom in our basement. However, after months of much stress and lack of communication with him and his partner, Joe Gunn, the job was never finished. We eventually had to cut our losses and find someone else to finish the job. Ken with Hummingbird was able to finish the job quickly and efficiently. Bottom line: I would strongly recommend against ever using Joe Bishop or Joe Gunn to anyone. What a nightmare! However, I would highly recommend Hummingbird Construction for a pleasant, stress-free experience.

"My driveway always flooded with the rain. Home star installed a drain and a pipe which emptied the water into a ditch on my front lawn. They slanted the concrete so the water would drain. They also installed a patio . The craftsmanship was excellent! And there was not any sign of debris after the job. I will hire them again."

From the very first day when he came to give us an estament we were impressed with Charles dipman  we were only looking to roof the back of our house but when he came and looked at the whole roof he told us we  had wind and hail damage to our whole roof and that we could   claim it on our home owners insurance and that we did!

. He was here when the insurance adjuster came and went thru it with the adjuster and got enof of  a claim to roof our whole house.  WE would  not have known we had a claim with our insurance  if he had not told us that.  we are very grateful for that. he did an excellent job  in roofing our home  there were no problems everything  went smooth. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
