"Hired for a job in Historic St Augustine. Was very upfront on the location of the house. Scheduled for 8:30 am. At 8:55 am the day of the job, the plumber called and was like "Oh, you're way down in St Augustine." Umm, yeah. He didn't show up until 9:45 am. Needed him to fix an outside water spigot and he did the job. Then needed to address poor water pressure in a bathroom sink. Assumed it was a clogged aerator. He could not remove the aerator but he did check the water pressure and it was good. The next day I watched a youtube video and removed the aerator myself. There was another fine mesh one behind it. Could not remove that so I ended up replacing the faucet myself. Now it works fine. Would I recommend? Eh, probably not. If St Augustine is too far to drive to make an 8:30 appointment, tell me up-front. And no, did not get any discount for making me wait. In fact he was there a little over an hour and I got charged for 1.25 hours."

"PLUMBING is very expensive. This was my first need for a plumber and was surprised by the cost. Due to new sinks which were deeper with drains more to the back of the sink rather than in the center, required an entirely rapping of the under sink system. The men work hard and were very professional. However, after the job was completed, I discovered that the water to the dishwasher was none existent. Fenwick plumbing sent out the same workmen to fix the issue the same day! Well done. The issue, was that the workmen mentioned it was not his job to "turn the water on to the dishwater" What, you changed the old pipe to fit the new one. Apparently if a plumber does not actually turn off a connecting water system, his job is therefore is not to turn that water system back on or to inform the homeowner that he did not turn the water on to say the dishwasher. Ruined a good first time experience."

"Overall, everything was fine. We were preparing our house to sell and needed an outside faucet fixed. Allfix was the fastest to respond of the three recommended by HA, moved the appointment up a day because had an opening and communication was good. Only negative was price. Heard from another later and they would've done it for about half what was charged. But that's ok. I was in a hurry and Allfix customer service and work quality was good so we were blessed. "When I had a leak in my toilet, Kelly's was the only company to respond, and did so within 24 hours of my request for quote. It turned out the leak I had in my toilet bowl wasn't from the bolt in the floor that I thought. This plumber did a double check and quickly found a crack in the top of the bowl that leaked as the tank would drain into the bowl when the toilet flushed. Since he immediately wrote off the job as needing replacement, which took all of two minutes, he called "the boss" and got the price on my bill reduced from the $165 rate for the first hour to their $55 per additional 1/2 hour. I found this quite equitable and great customer service, and I was able to settle with cash on the spot. What was less commendable was their evaluation of the bowl needing a complete replacement for a small crack. After they left, I stuck some caulk in it, and it's held multiple days. I see no need to call them back. In short, amazing customer service up front, but they may try to rope you into something that will wind up more expensive for you."
