"Waterman Building & Remodeling is one of the best home repair companies I have worked with. Sales Rep Andy Cannon came over to the house to provide a complete estimate and to provide a brochure on all the various colors available. We were interested in a certain color, and Jenny Schermerhorn sent over pictures and addresses of work they had done using that color shingle. We agreed to the price, which I found very reasonable, and were put on the schedule on 4/14. We were told they were about 8 weeks out so to expect a call in early June, about a week before our appt. They called to tell us they would be over on June 13th. Materials were dropped off shortly after that call. The day of the appointment came, and the crew was here first thing in the morning. Everything was covered properly, and work began. Foreman kept us in the loop as to what was going on. Very nice guy who I loved chatting with. Work was completed in the afternoon, and a thorough cleanup was done using magnets to ensure no loose roofing nails were in the yard. Its been four months since the roof was replaced, and we have had many storms with heavy winds and rain since then with absolutely no issues with the roof."

"The Project was a complete success from start to finish! Elias, the Project Manager was excellent. We had a major problem with a roof that was leaking . We had several contractors come to look at the roof for estimates. Elias spent the most time of any of the contractors viewing and evaluating the roof and siding as well as the inside of the house where the water was leaking into and discussed the project with the President of Beantown. He was excellent at explaining what needed to be done. It was not your average "roof job" as the roof abutted a large chimney and the room under the roof was cold and drafty. He was very patient with me as I had many questions about the project. Janice, the Office Manager, was courteous and always available from start to finish. The roofing team was very professional and did an excellent job. They also added the appropriate insulation, new siding to the house by the roof, gutters and appropriate flashing. The roof not only looks great, but the room beneath the roof is no longer drafty and there are no leaks. His team cleaned up after the project was completed such that you wouldn't even know they were there. Elias was so professional and he even contacted us after the first rainstorm to make sure that everything was fine. The Office Manager, Janice sent the Roof Warranty to me right away. "Above all else always look for a great roofer. Richard and his team are great roofers. In order to complete his estimate, Richard and I went up on my roof together. Richard pointed out his observations of wear and tear. Richard asked me what I wanted to do with an existing ridge vent type, metal chimney flue stack and older unused whole house fan exhaust vent. Richard educated me on the evolution of roofing products since he began working on roofs 40 years ago and the roofing material warranty process. It was clear to me Richard takes pride in his workmanship, carefully listens to his customers desires and wanted to completely satisfy the customer (me). This included my selection of an exact shingle color I was interested in, even though it may have been from a manufacturer he normally does not work with. My old roofing shingles were stripped and replaced. An old whole house fan roof vent was removed and the opening closed up. A new bathroom exhaust vent was installed. A upper section of furnace flue stack above the roof line was replaced. Richard's team has a process from beginning to end that is fast, efficient, thorough, clean and customer friendly. Large plastic tarps were hung from the roof and used to catch the old roofing shingles that were removed. My gutters were cleaned out and a large magnet was used to pick up any old roofing nails in my driveway. All completed in one single day. Your number one priority should be to seek out a great roofer. I highly recommend Richard and his team of great roofers to work on your roofing project."

I selected Cooks based upon quality of products they would use. Cooks was middle on price quote. My situation was difficult because I was facing major surgery and needed the work done within four weeks before the end of September, a very busy time for roofers.
