"Vellox was amazing. My neighbor recommended I check with them when obtaining quotes for the work on my house which needed a new roof and gutters. Gleyson Olivera from Vellox was the only company rep of all of the other 5 quotes I received who came to my home AND walked me around my house giving recommendations as well as listening to my concerns. The lead time was acceptable, the quotation was competitive and there were no "hidden" extras such as rotten wood add-ons. Also, Vellox was the only company to account for overhangs on my roof and bring the ice and water shield farther up the roof. All of the other companies missed this. Called Richard of R&R Roofing to see if he could help. Found out that they repair/replace gutters, siding and windows in addition to roof work. "Waterman Building & Remodeling is one of the best home repair companies I have worked with. Sales Rep Andy Cannon came over to the house to provide a complete estimate and to provide a brochure on all the various colors available. We were interested in a certain color, and Jenny Schermerhorn sent over pictures and addresses of work they had done using that color shingle. We agreed to the price, which I found very reasonable, and were put on the schedule on 4/14. We were told they were about 8 weeks out so to expect a call in early June, about a week before our appt. They called to tell us they would be over on June 13th. Materials were dropped off shortly after that call. The day of the appointment came, and the crew was here first thing in the morning. Everything was covered properly, and work began. Foreman kept us in the loop as to what was going on. Very nice guy who I loved chatting with. Work was completed in the afternoon, and a thorough cleanup was done using magnets to ensure no loose roofing nails were in the yard. Its been four months since the roof was replaced, and we have had many storms with heavy winds and rain since then with absolutely no issues with the roof."

"The B & R team was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from quote to paying after the job was done. We had heard water dripping onto a ceiling on our second floor during a heavy storm, and called several roofers for quotes. Five different companies came out, two of which wanted to replace the whole roof, and three that said it should just be repaired. During that process, several of the companies mentioned that our chimney needed repointing as well, so we added that to the job. Robert Jr. came out for B & R on a Monday after I had spoken with them on a Friday, and I had detailed quotes in my email that night for the work. They were quick to respond to questions by email, text, and phone. Once I got them the signed contract, they were in touch within the week to get the work scheduled, and had their mason and roofing team on site two weeks after I had gotten them the contract. A day and a half later, I had a beautifully repointed chimney with a cap, rotted wood around the base of the chimney replaced, perfect flashing, and a roof that no longer leaks at all. The team kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know about any issues they encountered and keeping me posted on their timelines. After they were done, they cleaned up the site completely (and even cleaned up the leaves and sticks that were in the driveway from a recent storm). The final price came in just slightly over the original quote because they had to replace more wood than they were originally expecting around the base of the chimney - it took more materials and more time than what was covered under the original estimate, but only cost a little more than the quote. All in all a great process, and I'd highly recommend Robert Jr. and the team at B & R for any roofing or chimney related work that you need."

He arrived as promised and provided a very thorough and fair estimate for the work requested, which was re-roofing the house, a garage, an addition and a shed, adding a 27' section of gutter to my garage and replacing two skylights in my addition. He was professional and personable, as well as very knowledgeable. The estimate he provided was complete and fair. In addition, he provided a list of homes he had roofed (with shingle colors) so that I could get a good idea of the color in actual lighting conditions. I was very pleased with his interaction and have no doubt as to his capability. Unfortunately, you can only hire one firm and I opted for a different company but you should contact him for an estimate on your job. He is well established and would be competitive."
