This is a business that takes great pride in what they offer. From concept into design, our finished space was so just like I imagined it. The team of employees was great to work with, friendly & courteous. We also had various vendors with whom they work, and they were good as well. Work began and the amount of care for our home, lifestyle, and craftsmanship was evident from day one. They treated my property like it was my home and not a job site and cleaned up at the end of every day. My 70-year-old home presented many challenges but with attention to detail, they built exactly what we wanted. "Macc and his team did an excellent job on our deck installation project. Everything from helping us select the right materials, designing the layout, and completing the installation with quality and attention to detail. Everyone we interacted with was highly professional and left the work site clean. In addition to our decking project, Macc also subcontracted some really great concrete work for us which included a new driveway, front porch, and walkway, as well as some decorative stamped concrete in the backyard. This project went very smoothly and the end result met and exceeded all of our expectations. They also did some repairs to the exterior of our home/roof which included replacement of multiple facia boards at a reasonable price. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the work and the integrity and professionalism of Macc and his team, and we would hire them again for future projects. Highly recommended!"

"Peter Newman Design & Construction has done several home renovation projects for us over a span of 20 years. The first was a room and bathroom addition way back in 1999. This job required framing, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical, drywall, cabinetry, tile, hardwood flooring etc. He handled everything including coordination with the architect and the county for permitting, project scheduling, material procurement/delivery and all labor. In the last 5 years, Peter has accomplished a kitchen remodel and laundry room upgrade, and most recently, a master bath remodel. We will continue to use Peter for projects into the future as his work is always top notch. He is a true craftsman and artisan with great attention to detail. He is conscientious, professional, responsive, and always leaves the job site clean and orderly. He is always our first call!"

"First of all, they are very expensive. I needed two sections of drywall repaired that were a maximums of 6 inches by 6 inches. The estimate was $789.00. At first I laughed this off as a contractor who had more work then he could handle at the time, and so created an absurd invoice. Unfortunately, the work was being done is in a rental house that I own and the tenants are inconvenienced every time that I have a contractor creating an estimate. I decided against my better judgement to go with someone who is ridiculously priced but had good reviews. Bad idea. After they completed the work they added another $110.76 for a "materials" fee, which was not added to the previous invoice. $798.00 is absurd for 3 hours of work and $20 in materials. (I know this because I have do this myself.) $890.76 is criminal."

"We hired Scott McQueen to totally renovate our existing barn, a very challenging project. We recently purchased this ranch property. The existing barn was quite old, probably built 50 years ago or more. Scott developed a plan to totally renovate it -- new trusses, new concrete floor (previously was just a dirt floor), new roofing, new siding, new electrical, new paint, new and strengthened interior walls, new doors, etc. Unfortunately we tackled the project at a time of high prices for materials and other elements, but Scott worked with us to significantly reduce costs from the original estimate by redesigning some elements of the plan and working with us to explore alternatives. We couldn't be happier with the renovation."
